Tom and Dottie Lancaster have been serving the Lord together since 1967. Their ministry began while Bro. Lancaster was in Bible College and he served as the student pastor of a rural church in Darlington, SC for four years. He went on to pastor two other: one in Hartsville, SC for over 10 years and one in their hometown of Memphis, TN for over 12 years. He also helped in planting several churches during this time.

From 1963-1967 Bro. Lancaster served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. It was during that time that he gave his heart and life to the Lord and Dottie rededicated and surrendered her life to the Lord. Since then they have had a love for the military and a deep appreciation for their service. His church in Memphis had a large ministry to the military in Millington, TN and saw scores and scores of marines and sailors saved.

In 1992 God called them to go as missionaries to our U.S. military serving in Mannheim, Germany. They served Rhein River Baptist Church for over 20 wonderful years and saw many hundreds of service personnel and their families, as well as many nationals and internationals, come to know Christ as their Savior. God called many men and women to serve Him full time from this ministry.

In 2012 the military base in Germany closed and the Lancasters returned to the states to serve as the BIMI European Coordinator for Military Missions. They travel full time trying to help military churches around the world and raise awareness for the need of military missions. As he speaks in churches and Bible Colleges their burden is to recruit men and women who will give their lives to take the gospel to our U.S. military around the world.
