Nathan and Renee were both saved at the age of 5: Nathan with his family on the mission field in Niger, West Africa, and Renee at their sending church, East Side Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia. They met while students at Bob Jones University. Nathan already felt called to the mission field, to use his studies in Broadcast Engineering to serve the Lord. Renee, studying Accounting, was also surrendered to whatever the Lord had for her life. In 2006, between their junior and senior year of university, Nathan was able to go on a mission trip to the Caribbean Radio Lighthouse with a team of Radio & Television Students. While there, he was praying that if the Lord wanted him to serve in Antigua that He would answer four specific prayer requests, and He did! To top it off, he learned that one of the missionary engineers was retiring, and the station bookkeeper had already left Antigua and those responsibilities were being passed around. The next summer, Renee was able to go on mission trip to see the ministry. In 2009, Nathan finished his graduate degree in Broadcast Management, they were married, and started deputation. In 2012, they moved to Antigua.
