Roger & Liz Workman

Serving in Northern Mariana Islands - Tinian, Far East

Hafa Adai!
(hof-a-day - a traditional greeting in the Northern Marianna Islands region)

We are Roger and Liz Workman and have been serving the Lord in the Northern Mariana Islands since 1987. Our family began our ministry on the island of Saipan where we raised our four children. We spent 12 years there ministering with the Calvary Baptist church alongside another BIMI missionary. In 1993, the Lord directed us to the neighboring island of Tinian to start the Calvary Baptist Church there.

Tinian is a small island with approximately 3,000 people. A portion of those are contract workers from other countries. The majority of the island is steeped in the traditions of Roman Catholicism.

1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

Please pray for us as we endeavor to reach the people here no matter their nationality and tell them about the Lord Jesus Christ and what He has done for ALL.
