Tuesday - April 24, 2012

Please pray for Catherine Hudson. Catherine has been receiving treatment for cancer. On Monday morning, April 23, Catherine was taken to the emergency room in Mesquite, Texas, where she was diagnosed with double pneumonia. She is being assisted now by a ventilator and is being sedated so that her body can totally rest. Pray for the antibiotics to be effective in the treatment of the pneumonia as well as the continued chemotherapy for the cancer.

Friday - March 30, 2012

Please pray for my wife, Catherine. Catherine truly is a "Proverbs 31 lady," and she has been a great help and blessing on the mission field for the past 15 years.

One week prior to our returning to Ukraine after a brief furlough, my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, which has metastasized and moved to the liver. Her liver is twice its normal size and is entirely enveloped with cancer. The oncologists have informed us that there is nothing surgically that can be done. We were consulted to begin chemotherapy immediately in an effort to shrink the cancer and help the liver function properly. She began the first chemotherapy treatment at the exact time that we were scheduled to board the plane for Ukraine. She will continue having these treatments every week in order to allow the oncologist to regulate how her body is responding to the treatment.

We are trusting the Lord to completely heal her body and allow us to soon return to Ukraine and the people we love dearly. God is Good, and with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). Thank you for praying!

USA WORLD MISSIONS CENTER, Harrison, Tennessee, Martha Kunberger—She writes, During the past three months we have enrolled many new students in our free home study Bible courses. We now have more than 700 enrolled although some of them are inactive. Some students have been saved and others committed their lives to full-time Christian service. Some write to express their thanks for the studies. We are now offering a study in the book of Romans, and we have requests for Spanish Bibles.

Last month I had the opportunity to lead a ten-year-old girl to the Lord. Please pray for C. that she may grow in the Lord and be a blessing to her family and friends. L., one of my children in the Lord, continues to have Bible studies in Guatemala and keeps in touch with me. She is preparing to begin a Bible study in a new area of the city.

CENTRAL AMERICA, HONDURAS, Goins Family—They give the following report and prayer needs: We have determined that we will not be the end of the line of the mission chain, but a continuation. The responsibility to reach the world with the Gospel lies with every local church, and we want to have a part! In March we finalized our first year of Faith Promise giving for missions at Iglesia Bautista El Faro. The goal amount was around $7,500 for the year. We reached 100% of our goal! This month we finished our second missions conference. This year the commitments came in at $10,600 for the year—a 39% increase. We currtently support nine missionaries and we plan to increase that amount this year.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
• Salvation: A., Ce., R., Cr., G.
• Full time students in Bible institute, A. and J.
• Hope of Honduras—children: A., B., J., C., D., E.

PRAISES:
• 48 salvation decisions and 20 baptisms so far in 2012

BRAZIL, Lunday Family—They write about a special project. We will be traveling to the Javari Valley on May 24. Join us in prayer that God will give protection and open doors as we lead the mobile medical clinics and evangelistic services in the river communities. There are so many needs for this trip with the purchase of medicines, Bibles, and fuel. Our project goal is $3,000 towards these needs. Pray that God will supply and enable others to give towards His project. Thank you for being a part of this missionary team.

EUROPE, GERMANY, INGELHEIM, Walter Hornungs—They give the following report and a special prayer request. This past Sunday in Sunday school a young boy requested to be saved. We do thank the Lord for His blessings and working in HIS church here in Germany. The past months three new couples with their young children started attending our services, also two new single ladies and three new single men started attending regularly. We pray and hope that they will become productive members of the Lord's church here.

We have a very important prayer request. The lease on our church building was cancelled. We have about five months time to find other suitable facility. Please pray with us that the Lord will give us the ideal place at the right location with the possibility of much growth for HIS glory.

CARIBBEAN, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, JARABACOA, Jeff and Traci Garrison—Brother Garrison has for the past several months been battling with his health. He has been experimenting with a new treatment and is waiting for the results. Please pray for him. Regardless, he gives the following report and prayer needs.

Prayer Requests
1. The health of both Traci and me
2. Two of our teenagers, G. and J.
3. Our AWANA ministry
4. The new feeding center ministry "Center of Hope"
5. Funds to complete the baptistry
6. A man that recently received Christ

WEST AFRICA, IVORY COAST, Dan and Jennifer Post—They write, We praise the Lord for His mercy that came down on Easter Sunday and saved a young man. We thank the Lord for your perseverance in prayer for his salvation...The Saturday before Easter my wife, Jennifer, had a special day for the Sunday school children. Praise the Lord for seven children who accepted Christ as their Savior!

It is a blessing to see God raise up leaders in the church. A few weeks ago one of our men preached on Sunday morning and after the serivice he led a young man to the Lord. He has been very faithful to the services since his salvation.

Please pray for the salvation of a Muslim. I have known this man for many years and have a burden for his salvation.

EUROPE, FRANCE, BOVES, Cary and Susan Abbett—They write giving their report and prayer requests: Along with the unsual names we give of people needing salvation, please keep praying for the Bible club S. and D. have on Saturdays. We rejoice for several visitiors to the Sunday services. A lady Susan has been witnessing to for a long time now asked to come to church for the first time on Easter Sunday. She did not show any desire to come back but was very happy to share that day with us. Mrs. L., a 90 year-old lady from Amiens, was also able to attend a service with us. We praise the Lord for these visits.

Next month on May 17the Bible school will hold a preaching conference called "Verite dans l'Amour" (Truth in Love). The topic for the meeting this year is on the subject of discouragement. Pastors and missionaries who have been faithfully plowing in France for many years (despite problems and health) have acccepted to preach on this subject. Please pray that God will be lifted up and that He can use His Word to encourage and strengthen the pastors and missionaries that will attend.

EAST AFRICA, UGANDA, KAMPALA, James and Cheryl Pridgen— They share the following: PASTOR C. J.—I had the privilege of leading Brother C. to the Lord several years ago. I baptized him, and then we started going through the discipleship course. After finishing discipleship he asked if there were any more studies that he could do because he felt that the Lord wanted him to preach. We then started meeting on a regular basis, and I started training him. After a few years we needed to start an early morning service in a local tribal language, and I told him that I believed that he was ready to preach/pastor. He is now preaching during the 8:00 service and doing a good job, and recently we liscensed him to preach. It was wonderful to see someone serve the Lord that we led to the Lord and trained. Thank you for your prayers and support for the ministry here in Kampala, Uganda.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, NEPAL, KTM, James and Holly Tamang—They give the following report: SUNRISE SERVICE—BBC LARGEST BAPTISM! We were excited to have our largest baptism for Bethel Baptist on Easter. We had ten from our church get baptized and we combined with Himal Baptist that had two for baptism. We are happy to see fruit of Christ's work on the celebration of Resurrection Day! Last month we also had two baptisms in the bathtub at our home.

We are praying for land for the church/school building. There are many obstacles: high cost, poor economy, and one group is trying to get the land owners to sign a petition that they will not sell to people wanting to start a church. Even though these things are against us, we know God is for us.

Praises:
• 7 saved and 12 baptized
• Janelle coming to help
• R.K. in college to lead in Shivapur village

Prayer:
• Discipleship and deliverance
• Land fund
• Furlough preparation

USA MINISTRIES TO THE DEAF, FAYETTEVILLE, TENNESSEE, The Rowans—They write, We want to give an update on the relocation matter. After praying earnestly and then receiving a clear answer to prayer, we know it is God's will for us to "stay by the stuff," as dear Dr. Sightler used to say. We truly have peace. Thank you for praying with us about this very important matter.

Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray for two deaf brothers to whom we are witnessing.
2. Please pray for T. (a deaf friend) who recently had breast cancer surgery.
3. Please pray for D. and B. (deaf). They are so faithful to the Lord. They have health issues.
4. Please pray for Deaf Camp coming up in June.
5. Please pray for our Nursing Home ministry to deaf and hearing.
6. And last but not least—please pray for Shirley's mother who has had health issues for about six months now. She is 93 years old and lives in Jacksonville, Florida.

EASTERN EUROPE, SIBERIA, KRASNOYARSK, The Sterling Family—They write, The Lord is allowing us to expand our ministry and influence here in Krasnoyarsk. While we were traveling on furlough, we told churches how we were going to start trying to use sports to open doors and help young people. Little did we realize how far this would end up taking us. Two years ago I was approached by a business man who loved American football (to most of the world football is what we call soccer). This man had some equipment and a desire to see a football team established in Krasnoyarsk. To make a long story short, I began filling the role of head trainer for the Krasnoyarsk Bears two months ago. After the first practice I was a bit stunned. I stood outside the classrooms where I teach English before 25 men as they intently listened to every word I uttered. The team is growing, and with a roster of 34 we are looking forward to seeing how the Lord is going to use this opportunity. It is interesting that the American players and coaches who have sent our team members literature and equipment over the past five years have been Christian men who have been very open about their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As a side note, please pray for me as my limited football experience is being stretched far beyond its capacity.

WEST AFRICA, CANARY ISLANDS, LAS PALMAS, Terry Sharp—He writes: The first quarter of this year has been full of surprises both welcome and unwelcome. First, I want to thank the Lord for each of you who took the time to encourage me on my birthday and at Christmas with cards, emails and gifts. A welcome surprise has been the return of Y. to the Bible studies with A. and his wife, M.... A. has been a faithful employee with a good Christian testimony in construction and renovation, but his employer has little work. The Lord has provided A. with work, but he is waiting to return to his former employer. This is the employer who was to give me a quote to build an 800 square foot meeting place. There seems to have been some communication problems between him and the owner of the building, and I was not made aware.

For His glory ...Progress in building approvals
• Salvation of Ab., Al., N., C., A., M., Y.
• Wisdom in each opportunity to witness
Thank you for your prayers.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, KIRIBATI, Joel and Brooke Daku—They give the following report: On the 13th of February as we landed on the tiny island of Tarawa, our minds were flooded with memories of the past and thoughts of the future as we arrived in our new home. The first thought that came to mind was that we are finally here after knowing for six years that God had called us to reach the people of Kiribati with the Gospel.

Being the first Baptist missionaries here affords us both advantages and challenges as we face the unknown. We are being watched closely because the people have never heard of a Baptist church and are not sure what it is all about. One of the advantages is being able to share with them that we believe the Bible and its claim that one must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pray with us over the next few months as we adjust to living and working here in Kiribati. We need to trust God for each step. We are thankful to know that behind our team here in Kiribati is an even greater team of prayer warriors lifting us up before the Lord. You are a vital part of our work, and we are thankful for your prayers.

WESTERN EUROPE, FRANCE, GIVET, Danny and Janice Flowers—They give an interesting account of their ministry as follows: Any Christian who witnesses will find that a barbar shop is a wonderful place to speak up for the Lord. A. began cutting my hair in 2006. After trying several other "coiffeurs," I found his shop in the center of Givet. Immediately, I knew that I had found the right barber. For several years, we talked about every topic under the sun as he cut my hair...I witnessed to him on several occasions, but his Catholic upbringing would always seep into the discussion. In 2008 I gave him a clear explanation of God's plan of salvation and strongly encouraged him to come to our church on Easter Sunday. He did not come. Several weeks later, I started to walk into his shop but was stopped by a "For Sale" sign in the window. The neighboring shop owner told me that A. had died of a massive heart attack while gardening. I do not know where A. is today.

A nice lady named V. cuts my son Lincoln's hair. Last fall she informed me that a young American was teaching her children at our local high school. Thinking that nothing would come of it, I left my phone number for her to give to him on his next visit. In February I received a phone call from C. asking if we could meet. I invited him to come with us to our Sunday night Bible study, and he agreed. I came to find out that C. is originally from Washington, D.C., searching for answers, and God led us to him. It was only a few days after we first met that I had the privilege of leading C. to Chirst. Since his salvation in mid-February, we have completed eight discipleship lessons together. He is putting his musical ability to use in our church and plans to be baptized on Easter Sunday. Only God can make this happen—and do it by using a barber shop.

USA MINISTRIES TO HISPANICS, FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS, Ed and Barbara O'Brien—They write giving the following update: We have gone forth and sown the seed of God's Word and now rejoice in the new growth that the Lord is giving. Since our last letter we have seen four new families and two adult ladies, one with three children, begin to attend our services. Some of these have already been saved and we are praying for the salvation of the rest of the people. Barbara and I had the joy of visiting with one of the families and seeing D. and her 11-year-old daughter C.receive Christ as their personal Savior. Her husband, J., was saved in El Salvador and had already come to our church several times. Please pray for the salvation of her mother and brother. We are also burdened and ask you to pray for A. who attends regularly. There are some things in his life that he is not ready to let go of yet. Please pray the Lord will bring him to repentance and salvation.

WEST AFRICA, NIGER, Benson and Joanna Jennings—They write, Our arrival in Niger is just around the corner! These next couple of months will be spent packing and making final preparations for our departure. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to return to the States for a month to visit with family and friends. This time will also be used to finish packing our crates and deliver them to the shipping company. Please pray for safety in travel and wisdom as we prepare for our arrival in Niger on June 19.

We want to thank all of you who have given to and prayed for our vehicle fund. A quality vehicle that can handle the extreme climate of Niger will be invaluable for our ministry among the nomadic Tuaregs. Unfortunately, even a used vehicle is very expensive. Niger does not manufacture its own vehichles and the cost of importing them is rather high because it is a landlocked contry. If you would like to give toward this need, please send your donation to BIMI at their mailing address and designate it to the Jennings' Vehicle Fund.

WESTERN EUROPE, ENGLAND, Mickey and Christine Schrimshire—They give the following report and prayer needs: The Market Ministry will begin again this month with a visit to a flea market in our area. We have also booked several county fairs, a town carnival, and three larger flea markets for the summer months. Our team is meeting now to prepare for soul wining at these events. We are also hoping to have new opportunities due to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Olympics in Britain, but all these are dependent on decent weather for which England is NOT well known. Please pray about these. Please pray for I., Pe., P., J., R. and me that God would give us much fruit this summer. Many plans have also been made to further establish the church plant at Congleton, and we continue to help Leek Baptist Church seek out a suitable pastor. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Virginia is progressing in her recovery on a daily basis. She was able to go to church on Saturday night to a musical and also to the Easter morning service. She taught her college class on Tuesday. Tomorrow we go for her post-op with Dr. Hunt and a consultation with the oncologist to find out when she will begin radiation. She is doing physical therapy at home.

Late yesterday Mrs. Sisk was moved out of ICU to a regular hospital room. Dr. Sisk wrote to say that Mrs. Sisk is doing "exceptionally well." Please continue to pray that the recovery process would be quick and that pain levels would be minimal. Thank you for your faithful prayers.

Thursday - March 29, 2012

Virginia spent last night in ICU and I was able to stay with her in her room. She was checked every few minutes, so she did not get much sleep. However, Virginia did rest quite well. She will be transferred to a regular room today. Dr Hunt is very encouraged about her progress.

We thank God for hundreds of fellow Christians from all over the world who have called, emailed, texted, etc. We are humbled by the concern of so many. We thank each of you.

Mrs. Sisk's surgery went well yesterday (Wednesday, March 28, 2012). After removing all but a very small portion of the tumor (which the surgeon was unable to remove), it was determined that the tumor was benign. The doctor feels that one round of radiation should eliminate the remaining part of the tumor. We praise the Lord for this wonderful answer to prayer. Please pray specifically that God would reduce the pain that Mrs. Sisk is experiencing at this time. Thank you for praying and please continue to do so during the recovery process.

2:45pm (est)
Wednesday - March 28, 2012

Mrs. Don Sisk (Virginia) is scheduled for surgery today to remove a tumor on her brain. The latest information we have received from Dr. Sisk is that Mrs. Sisk has just been taken into surgery. We will update you as we receive further information from the Sisks. Thank you for your prayers.

CARIBBEAN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, Coco Chan—She writes, December, January and February were three extremely busy but fruitful months. Praise God for the 12 children at the schools who have made professions of faith. Please remember these children in your prayers that God will help them grow strong in faith—R., I., J., G., Ja., A., S., Is., Gi., An., Sh. and Al.. Pray also for W. E. who made a profession of faith. I met him on visitation.

EAST AFRICA, UGANDA, Alan and Elena Sutphen—They shared the following report and prayer needs. Praise: We were privileged to lead a young man to the Lord recently. He is a student in the Serere area...came forward for salvation at the end of the sermon on a recent Sunday morning. He has been trusting in baptism to get him to Heaven, but after he and I went through the Scriptures, he understood his need and trusted Christ alone for his salvation. We thank the Lord for another harvested soul.

Prayer Requests:
• Salvation for my father and brother
• Encouragement and stamina for learning the Kuman language
• Approval for my medical credentials without significant difficulty
• To be an effective witness and testimony for Chrsit to the Kuman tribe
• Spiritual growth of our boys back in the States

FAR EAST, MONGOLIA, Jason and Mary Ritchie—They share the following: Probably the highlight of the past couple of months was the opportunity I had to participate in the ordination of a Mongolian friend to the Gospel ministry. G., a man won to Christ and trained for the ministry by Missionary Jeff Dean, was a great help to us when we first arrived, and I have grown to appreciate his fine Christian character and love for the Lord.

We are constantly reminded, however, that we must learn to communicate well the truths of the Bible before we can reach that point. I have taken on additional class hours each week that allow me to work through different passages of the Mongolian Bible. This has been invaluable, and I am excited by the progress we continue to make in our lessons. Please pray for our daily studies, which demand much of our time but which I firmly believe to be a solid investment in our future ministry.

We also continue to make friends and establish relationships. Please pray for J., Z., U., N., G., T., Ts., Tu., B. and many others as we reach out to them a bit at a time. One day soon we look forward to being able to clearly share Christ with each one.

SOUTH AMERICA, VENEZUELA, The Tim Carte Family—They give the following report: This past month I have the record of eight people that made professions of their faith in Christ. These were eight of the 15 visitors that attended our Sunday services. These eight responded because they heard the Gospel preached. Please pray for us as we continue to form a soul winning team for Saturday mornings. We have only three or four people that are preaching door-to-door, and we are asking the Lord for a total of 12.

We are averaging between 30 and 40 people in our Sunday morning services. It is a joy to see these new believers grow as they hear and obey the principles of the Word of God. Please pray for them and the decisions they need to make as they continue to identify with Christ and His Word.

BRAZIL, JARDINOPOLIS, Paul and Sharon Pritchard—They report the following: We received good news from Jardinopolis, São Paulo, on March 4. A young married lady received the Lord as her Savior. Her father is a faithful member of the church in Jardinopolis. He has prayed for her for more than 20 years. That is good news from a far country.

In our last newsletter I mentioned that we are trying to raise funds for some special needs as we return to the field of Brazil. We would like to say thank you for helping us with this. In January and February we received about 1/4 of the needed amount. Please continue praying with us that our supporting churches would be a part of helping us. Thank you.

CENTRAL AMERICA, MEXICO, MEXICO CITY, Jorge and Aimee Rodriguez—They give the following report and prayer needs: We asked you in the last prayer letter to pray for a lady and her husband. He has put limits on her involvement in the church and the Bible study that she has with a godly lady of our church. We went to visit her a month ago, and after a half hour of talking to her, the husband asked us to leave the house. He did not want us to be there and he said out loud, 'I told you that I don't want those kinds of people in my house.' He is referring to Christians when he says that; please pray that the Lord would work in his heart, that she would not lose her zeal to grow in the Lord, that she would continue to attend the Bible study and that the teacher would give sound wisdom to her.

CARIBBEAN, PUERTO RICO, Jerry and Liz Harmon—They give the following very arresting report: P. was a 26-year-old young man. He came to church for the first time when Jerry was preaching at the church in Ohio. He came with his girlfriend and sat in the third row, right behind Liz. P. and the girl spent the time joking about everything said in the message Jerry preached. Liz had never heard him give a clearer or better presentation of the Gospel plan of salvation. When the invitation was given, P. and his girlfriend were the first out the back door. It was sad indeed, but Jerry could think of nothing but the hundreds who had done the same thing in our church in Puerto Rico. So many times he had preached his heart out, prayed and fasted for the people on our island. Yet time after time they thought they were alredy good enough and fine, though we knew differently. By Tuesday P. was dead. He had already passed into the eternity he had only joked about less than 48 hours earlier. The message he mocked came home to roost. The Hell he joked about became his eternal home. How sad.

WESTERN EUROPE, IRELAND, KILDARE, LEIXLIP CO., Bob and Kathi Zemeski—Bob continues to experience health problems; however, he keeps serving. They give the following report: Just as we received 15,000 DVDs, a man from our first church fell off a ladder and broke both legs. We cared for him in our home for months until he was well enough to manage crutches. He lives in a two-story house, was in a wheelchair and only had an upstairs toilet. During his stay with us he wanted something to do. Almost single-handedly he folded, stamped tracts and stuffed them with the 15,000 DVDs. After three and a half weeks this project was finished. You could say we were a blessing to each other! Our task now is to distribute these DVDs door-to-door. So far we have distributed 3,000. The weather has been a hinderance, and now I have foot problems. It will take some time, but by God's grace we will get them distributed.

FAR NORTH, CANADA, QUEBEC, WICKHAM, The Jean Rousseau Family—They share the testimony of a young couple in their ministry as follows: We are happy concerning a young couple who had trusted the Lord a few years ago but had not been established in the Word of God. We were able to have studies with them for the last few weeks, and they have come to a personal assurance of salvation. Praise the Lord! They have asked to be baptized but first need to be married, which should happen on April 7. Please pray that the marriage ceremony would glorify the Lord, and pray for the salvation of their respective families, particularly her sister, M. We spent three hours with her last week sharing the Gospel, and she decided to find a local church in her area of Quebec. Pray for a great presentation of the Gospel at this wedding.

Special Prayer Requests:
• For new contacts with the unsaved
• For spiritual and numerical growth at Good Shepherd Baptist Church
• For guidance concerning my son's Bible training—which college to attend

SOUTH AFRICA, HILLCREST, Jeff and Robbin Demarest—They give the following report and prayer needs: We praise the Lord for the eight young people who accepted Christ as their Savior at camp in December.

We were privileged to have Kreig Durham from West Coast Baptist College with us through January 2012. He was a blessing and encouragement to us and the church. Along with preaching Kreig helped around the church and assembled Scriptures. Pray for Kreig as he finishes his last semester at West Coast.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
• Spiritual growth for new believers
• Training of faithful men
• Vehicle fund
• Robbin's continued recovery
• Our pastor, Bob Morgan, as he recovers from a major surgery

SOUTHEAST ASIA, INDIA, YADAVAGIRI MYSORE, Sam and Sharon Dayanand—They share the following report and prayer requests: Right after Sam's surgery we needed to be careful about his exposure to infection. That limited us for a while. Now, however, we are able to reach out to more areas. Recently, we visited a remote village. We arrived at a small church packed to capacity. The pastor was a layman who desperately wanted some guidance and biblical advice to help his congregation. Needless to say we were thrilled that the Lord was using us to meet the need. Sam preached during the morning session. Later, in the afternoon, I (Sharon) conducted a ladies' Bible study. This was the first time these ladies had a meetng meant just for them, and the reponse was overwhelming. They needed someone to address their problems as women and no one had done that before. Later, a lady told the local pastor, 'I don't know about the others, but God sent her here just for my sake!' Praise God!

Prayer Requests:
• For a family in the church at Vizak who recently lost their four-month old baby girl. Pray that they will grow in the Lord, as they are new believers and find comfort in this tragedy (it was amazing the way the people of the church came together and offered true Christian compassion).

• For the salvation of a man in his mid to late seventies who Sam is witnessing to. He is deep into spiritual meditation. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for Sam as he talks to this dear man who is so close to an eternity without Christ.

WEST AFRICA, TOGO, Jon and Heidi Huff—They give the following very exciting report: What a day we had recently out at our village church while we were preparing for our first baptisms for quite some time. Our church is located right in the middle of so many who practice voodoo as could be seen by the tree that we had to cut down when we planted the church because some people were still offering animal sacrifices there, on the church property! Oh, how the Lord has worked so marvelously this past year and now so many new believers were ready to publicly profess Christ, abandon their voodoo ways and follow the Lord in baptism. They were clearly taught that they could not keep idols at home and still be baptized, so those who still had idols brought them to the church the morning of the baptisms and we burned them! What a testimony to the glory of God!

USA MINISTRIES, CONNECTICUT, TERRYVILLE, The David Townsley Family—They give the following report and prayer needs: During the month of March, we are planning a spring blitz. The goal is to hang an Easter events door hanger on 10,000 homes in Terryville, Thomaston and Bristol. Please pray for people to help with this outreach and for people to respond by coming to church and by being saved.

Also, please pray for: 1. The many new believers in the church to follow the Lord in baptism and to grow in their faith through Bible study, church attendance and service. 2. People to be saved. 3. People to grow in Christ. 4. Protection from Satan's attack. 5. Provision of the remaining remodeling cost, including $2,000 to put the baptistry in its permanent place.

USA MILITARY, GERMANY, HERRIEDEN, Doug and Michelle Cook—They report the following: In February two more families departed. However, the Lord has brought us two new families and both drive 30–40 minutes one way. Presently, we have six families that drive 30 minutes or more to our services. Pray that they remain faithful and the distance does not discourge them. Also, several soldiers are receiving orders for new assignments and new families and soldiers will be arriving to take their place over the next few weeks. Pray for us as we seek out these new families. Some will know our Lord, but some will need to be introduced to the Savior.

Please remember to pray for those who are fighting to defend our freedoms, and remember that we must do all we can to help them by defending them and their families against the attacks of Satan. As they fight the physical battle, we remain here with their families and fight the spiritual battles. We need your prayers for wisdom and strength from the Lord.

CENTRAL AMERICA, HONDURAS, TONCONTINO COMAYAGUELA, Alan and Becky Jackson—They write the following: Over the last several weeks many people have made decisions for Christ, and the first week in March we are going to have our first baptismal service in Danli. We have around 30 people that need to be baptized, and we are praying that all will be ready. Please pray with us that they will be obedient to the Word of God concerning baptism.

As the church grows and the Word of God is preached, many people have come to understand the mandate given in the Word of God to witness. The past several weeks there have been 11 people going on visitation. This past Saturday six people made professions of faith in Jesus Christ. Then, to see those who made professions come to church and share that they have been saved inspires and ignites the church. Please pray that God will be glorified in all that we do here in Honduras.

USA MILITARY MINISTRIES, Gary and Karen Craft—They give the following report and prayer needs: We have seen FOUR saved, TWO baptized, ONE family and ONE lady joining our church in recent weeks. We are grateful for those decisions. One of our men who is deployed in Afghanistan was able to lead one of his co-workers to Christ this past weekend. We praise the Lord for the good news from those who are serving every day in harm's way.

I LOVE MY CHURCH SUNDAY

We are thankful that the Lord loved the church and gave Himself for it. With that in mind, every February we have a special Sunday to encourage our people to see the importance of the local church.... These special Sundays draw our church family closer and allow us to meet new military families in a setting where so many are coming and going all the time because of the military PCS (permanent change of station), deployments and temporary duty assignments. In spite of all these circumstances, the miracle of the military church stands to the credit of the power of our God to change lives.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, THE FIJI ISLANDS, Paul and Martha Daku— They write, The Lord continues to build His church in Fiji. On February 19, a young mother, with a baby in her arms, came to receive Christ. In the evening service a young man responded eagerly to the invitation. Pray that they will grow in their faith. Each week we see fruit as the Gospel is given out in homes, children's Bible clubs, youth meetings, and church services. The islands of the sea are often forgotten because we are just tiny specks, barely visible on the map. Yet there are thousands of people on these islands, still steeped in their religion and bound by the satanic practices of their culture and ancesters. Will you pray for laborers? Will you answer the call to serve Him? We would be happy to share with you the opportunities where God can use YOU, whether young or old.

WESTERN EUROPE, FRANCE, BOVES, Carey and Susan Abbott—They give the following report: We praise the Lord for two new students that have joined the Bible school at the start of the second semester. Please pray for them as they adjust to student life. While I'm talking about the Bible School, please continue to pray for someone to take over the school as director. The current director, our dear friend Bernard Dodeler, has been there for 20 years and has been faithful despite all the health problems he and has wife have been battling....Susan and I still visit with Mrs. R. L. She is an elderly lady who lets us visit with her every week. She hears but does not seem to listen and take heed to her spiritual needs. As many, if not most French, she still thinks she can work her way into Heaven.

WEST AFRICA, IVORY COAST, Becky Pope, Medical Assistance— She writes the following: One of our medical events was to visit the village of Agban in early January. This was the fourth time a medical day has been completed in this village, and this time the chief publicly declared that Fundamental Baptist Church (FBC) is welcome to return without having to ask permission—meaning open evangelization and Bible studies can begin! Of the 178 patients treated, 92 were witnessed to face-to-face by a national Christian, with 80 of these expressing a desire to hear more, and the remaining 12 making professions of faith. For a more detailed account of the day and to view a few pictures, please see my blog entry "Village Days" at: http://bienvenuetothecoast.blogspot.com/.

EASTERN EUROPE, ROMANIA, The Irvin Family— They give the following needs: Please keep praying for our language study, too, as we continue to learn Romanian. As we study, it has been a special blessing to be able to witness to many folks here in English. There seems to be a greater number of people who speak and understand English here in Romania than we noticed in Ukraine.

Urgent Needs:
1. Spiritual power & physical health
2. Pastors M., N., P., S. & V.
3. Churches in L'viv & in Minsk
4. Israel & world situation
5. Romanian language

SOUTH AFRICA, WITBANK, The David McCrum Family— They give the following report and prayer needs: In February we baptized three more believers. O. and C. are so hungry to learn—they soak up Bible teaching like sponges! It's been a joy to see them come to the place of wanting to follow Christ in baptism and join with our church. K. has been asking some hard questions lately and we are so thankful to see her affirm her belief in Jesus and her desire to follow His will for her life.

Please pray with us about several ministry opportunities: Youth Ministry—this is expanding, and we need wisdom in training several church members interested in getting involved. Satellite Church Service—we have been invited to begin another Bible study 45 minutes from Witbank, with the view of establishing another church. Two of our church families would be able to assist; we need direction and strength.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, PHILIPPINES, Layne and Nelia Jones—They give the following report: The Lord is so good! Last Sunday there were 16 adults and teens saved in the morning service. One of our girls that grew up in our church and got right with the Lord at Youth Camp brought her unsaved mother that we all have been praying for. She got saved. Sunday PM there were six more saved. On Saturday for the children's church, there were many baptized and saved.

The new 150 foot radio tower has been ordered in the States and will be shipped soon to Samar(ia). We still need some funds for the transmitter room, generation, A/C and a few other needs. This will enable us to reach millions more by means of radio. I just won a man to Christ who had been listening on his cell phone to the radio broadcast.

USA MINISTRIES TO JAPANESE, SOUTH CAROLINA, GREENWOOD, Ralph and Janet Burchell—The Burchells give the following report and prayer needs: Each Thursday evening as we try to meet with the Japanese men, we especially feel the need of the prayers of God's people. It would seem like Satan would love to hinder this opportunity to share the good news with Mr. O. and Mr. S.. Mr. M. has returned to Japan now to join his wife and baby son. Recently there seem to be conflicting things to "pop up" to hinder our meetings with these men such as "trouble at the plant" or "parent-teacher meetings for school children" and other excuses which keep them away. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will have free reign in this regard and that these men will not let Satan hinder them from hearing the Word of God.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Men to faithfully meet each Thursday evening for Bible study
2. Mrs. K.'s salvation and others ladies to become interested in the message of salvation
3. Ongoing recovery from the earthquake and tsunami of one year ago
4. Financial needs of the Bible school and the missionaries in Japan One missionary expressed the need today of more support. He said that they were barely holding on because of the weakening dollar.

EAST AFRICA, UGANDA, SOROTI, Lawrence and Rebecca Lantz—They write, Recently a national Baptist pastor invited me to travel up country to speak at a Youth Conference. In Uganda, a person who is a "youth" is between the ages of 15-30 years old. It was a wonderful conference with around 700 peole coming from all over the region to meet in an area with four great big shade trees that were in a semi-circle. All of the people present spoke Ateso, so I preached the whole message in Ateso only. I spoke on purity and holy living and sought to address the many unique beliefs and cultural values that are held by the people. I praise the Lord that His Word is the answer to every tribe and people group.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
• Good health and safety for our family
• For faithful attenders and new visitors at Ngor Baptist Church
• That our church would have a good reputation in the community
• For many of the people who have been invited to come to church
• For the Holy Spirit to work strongly in the hearts of those who attend or have already heard the Gospel
• For Lawrence as he prepares Gospel messages each week
• For the salvation of C., A., J., D. and M.
• For the spiritual growth of D. and E. through our discipleship efforts
• For C., D.'s mother, to be found

CARIBBEAN, TRINIDAD, BANK VILLAGE, CARAPICHAIMA, David and Terry Long—They give the following report and prayer requests: Since our last letter, we saw nine people saved on soul winning and in our services. I did not mention it in our previous letter, but in August, while driving on the highway, we were in an accident. The person behind us hit us pretty hard and I injured my neck. I have been receiving good care from a chiropractor here and now my neck is almost back to normal (well, as normal as it was before the accident). I'm thankful for good medical care.

Prayer Requests:
1) Pray for us to have more people saved, for more people to come to our church services, and that the people coming now will be more faithful
2) Pray for more people who have been saved to get baptized

SOUTH AMERICA, ECUADOR. Will and Laura Lyon—The Lyons are about to conclude deputation and they write the following: As our departure date to Ecuador approaches, several people have asked us what needs we still have. God has been so good to us and He has already provided, through our faithful and generous supporters, most of what we will need once we arrive in Ecuador. The only major need we have left is a vehicle. In the ministry God has called us to, we must purchase an off-road 4-wheel drive vehicle, and in Ecuador those are not cheap. We are praying that God will provide $10,000 for the need. With that amount we can buy a decent, reliable, 15-20 year old SUV that we can use to reach the remote villages in northern Ecuador. Please pray with us, as this is the biggest need in our ministry right now.

BRAZIL, LIMEIRA, Garry and Pam Tyler—They write, In our last letter we asked for prayer for E., a young lady who needed Christ. She has been saved and followed the Lord in baptism! There have been a number of very interesting salvation decisions. Three young people raised in our first church thought they were already saved and had been baptized years ago, but came to realize they had never made true decisions and desired to get these things right. Several others have also made salvation decisions including an 80-year-old lady in a wheelchair in the home of her daughter whose family has been visiting the church. One young couple got their marriage situation right, asked forgiveness before the church and now wants to become members and serve the Lord.

We ask that you continue to pray for the ministry, the salvation of souls, spiritual growth in our families, land or a building for the chruch, a home for us and a dependable vehicle. We are planning to move back to Limeira as soon as we are able to find a suitable house to rent. We would like to sell our house in São Paulo and buy in Limeira, but we have to wait on the documents.

USA MINISTRIES, NEW YORK, THE BRONX, Alan and Sabrina Davis—They write the following: Many of us traveled to Long Island for a baptism on January 29. Our good friend, Jeff North, pastor of an independent baptist church in Hicksville, New York, allowed us to join them in a baptismal service. One of the individuals God gave us the privilege to baptize was F. B., a Purple Heart recepient. After his salvation, he has become one of the most faithful individuals in our church. Six others from the Bronx were baptized with him.

Last year Sabrina and I had a goal to knock on 10,000 doors. After the death of Sabrina's dad, our time for outreach and evangelism was cut short. It did sadden our hearts very much that we did not reach our goal. Even though we came short of it last year, we have set a new one this year. Yes, the goal again is 10,000 doors. There are a lot of people who need Jesus Christ as Savior in the Bronx.

EASTERN EUROPE, SIBERIA, KRASNOYARSK, Duane and Bonnie Hearron—They give the following report: The last quarter our church saw several in the flock yield their lives to carnal living. As a result our attendance has been reduced to just a few attending services. I am sad to report that the couple who would drive with us from the village to church is no longer doing so. A. never made a decision to repent and trust Christ and is trying to fill the emptiness in his life by worldly vices. These two are unwilling to take the biblical steps necessary to correct what is wrong. Pray we may still have an influence for good for them.

I guess the most tragic loss for our church and personally for Bonnie and me is the news concerning one of our young ladies. Bonnie and I led her to Christ many years ago and she had been faithful to church ever since. However, by accident, I learned of her leading a double life since last spring. Bonnie and I confronted her about her sin and she explained how she realizes her choices made were not consistent with a proper biblical testimony. However, she was not repentant, which led to her being disciplined out of the church.

USA, WORLD MISSIONS CENTER, HARRISON, TN, Bob and Patsy Green—They write the following: Patsy started therapy on her foot and it seems to be helping a great deal. It has been a long six months since she broke her foot. We are grateful to the Lord for what He is doing to give healing. Please continue to pray for her recovery.

Please pray as I continue to work on the book in Spanish on church planting
—planting autonomous self-governing, self-supporting and self-propagating local churches. Pray that I can get it published in good order and in a timely manner. I had a call recently from a pastor that is burdened to see a Bible institute established in the Triad area of North Carolina to train Hispanic preachers and pastors. We have been praying with Pastor John Morales about this need for some time. Pray with us that together we can see something definite accomplished to make this a reality this year.

WESTERN EUROPE, FRANCE, Champagne-Ardeene, Danny and Janice Flowers—They give the following: Our return to France has afforded me the opportunity of reconnecting with many old friends from the basketball club. A. is one young man whom I befriended years ago. I shared the Gospel with him prior to my departure in 2008 and also left him with a Bible. Little did I know that God would use His Word in a powerful way. Apparently, A. began reading the Bible with an open heart. When we met again recently after three years, his first statement to me was about the Bible. Several days later, he and his girlfriend met me at a local café where I took them through the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit's conviction was present, but neither made a decision that day....Please pray for A. and B.

After much prayer for God's leading, we are making preparations to plant a new church in the city of Charleville. Charleville-Mezieres and its surrounding villages are located one hour south of our current work and have a population of 80,000 people....Please pray daily for this endeavor.

SWEST AFRICA, COTE d'IVOIRE (Ivory Coast), Bob Mach Family— They share the following: The country of Cote d'Ivoire certainly experienced its worst moments in 2011.... Since this opposition candidate has assumed power, there does appear to be a stable movement toward continuing the development of the country....We maintain a high security profile as there are still many steps to be taken to achieve the security level of the past. It would appear that we will eventually enjoy, again, a reasonable hope of security in the country.

Please pray with us concering the following subjects as we continue together for the Lord in Cote d'Ivoire:
1. The construction of the permanent church building in the Bingerville church
2. The construction of the permanent church building in the Zanapleougou church
3. The construction and opening of the new Bible college in Bingerville
4. The construction of a new health center

SOUTH AMERICA, BRAZIL, Garry and Pam Tyler—They give the following report and prayer needs: We ask that you continue to pray for the ministry, the salvation of souls, spiritual growth of our families, land or a building for the church, a house for us and a dependable vehicle. We are planning to move back to Limeira as soon as we are able to find a suitable house to rent. We would like to sell our house in Sao Paulo and buy in Limeira, but we have to wait on the documents.

Last week I went to the lawyers who are working on getting the house papers in order. It is amazing to see God at work! He sent a very hard rainstorm at the time I was about to leave so A., one of the lawyers, asked me to wait a little and began to ask me some questions. After about an hour, she bowed her head and asked Jesus to save her from sin and be her Savior!

SEAST AFRICA, UGANDA, SOROTI, Lawrence and Rebecca Lantz— They report the following: We are praising the Lord that Ngora Baptist Church is steadily growing. During the first nine weeks of Sunday services, we had sixty-two first time visitors! Please pray with us for spiritual growth as well as numerical. Oh, and we had our first egg given in the offering basket!

Prayer Requests:
• Good health and safety for our family
• For faithful attenders and new visitors at Ngora Baptist Church
• That our church would have a good reputation in the community
• For many of the people who have been invited to come to church
• For the Holy Spirit to work strongly in the hearts of those who attend or have already heard the Gospel
• For Lawrence as he prepares Gospel messages each week
• For the salvation of C., A., J., D. and M.
• For the spiritual growth of D. and E. through our discipleship efforts
• For C., D.'s mother to be found (she disappeared on December 20)

SOUTH AMERICA, PERU, Lee and Eva Johnson—They share the following: On December 18, I preached in one of my Spanish supporting churches for a Christmas banquet. It was during that banquet that a Mexican sister in Christ came up to me with tears in her eyes, but rejoicing. She came to thank me and for me to give thanks to Eva. Her words were "Pastor Lee, I want to thank you and Eva; because of you two, my husband and I are going back to Mexico as missionaries to our people." They've already been traveling and have raised some support towards returning it Mexico.

Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray for Eva's immigration situation.
2. Pray that God will clearly reveal His will in D.'s life.
3. Pray that God will provide us with two missionary families to help us on the field.
4. Pray for Jamie Rowe who has planned to be in Peru in June 2012 to start her first term with us.
5. Pray that God will continue to bless our church in each area.

SCENTRAL AMERICA, EL SALVADOR, Charters Family—They share the following praise and prayer reports: Many of you have prayed with us for the M. family. These teen girls accepted Christ during Vacation Bible School. Later, R., their mother, was saved and was baptized. We prayed for over two years for R. to be saved. Once, I witnessed to him for over two hours. No one thought he would accept Christ. They came to us for marriage counseling. On the third visit he dropped to his knees calling upon the Lord. He is one of our most faithful men and excited about his new life in Christ.

Prayer Requests:
• Stability in our church
• Safety during our furlough
• Raise funds for building
• 4th Anniversary—March 11

EASTERN EUROPE, SIBERIA, KRASNOYARSK, Duane and Bonnie Hearron—They share the following: This last quarter our church saw several in the flock yield their lives to carnal living. As a result our attendance has been reduced to just a few attending services. I am sad to report that the couple who would drive with us from the village to church are no longer doing so. A. never made a decision to repent and trust Christ and is trying to fill the emptiness in his life with the worldly vises. These two are unwilling to take the biblical steps necessary to correct what is wrong. Pray we may still have an influence for good with them.

I am so grateful for Brother K. who works as a representative for a Swiss pharmaceutical company. Unfortunately, he misses half of the services because of out of town business trips. However, when he is in town he is always faithful to church and many times is able to convince his unsaved son, to come with him. I would like to ask that you pray especially hard for I. to be saved along with his mother. I know Brother K. would be grateful.

SCARIBBEAN, TRINIDAD, BANK VILLAGE, CARAPICHAIMA, David and Terri Long—They give the following report and prayer needs: Since our last letter we saw nine people saved on soul winning and in our services. I did not mention it in our previous letters, but in August, while driving on the highway, a person behind us hit us and I injured my back. I have been receiving good care from a chiropractor here and now my neck is almost back to normal (well, as normal as it was before the accident). I'm thankful for good medical care.

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for us to have more people saved, for more people to come to our church services, and that the people would be more faithful.
2. Pray for more people who have been saved to get baptized.

SOUTH AMERICA, GUYANA, Noel and Charlene Shrivnauth—Fruits for our labor in 2011 were as follows: 1,510 saved and 101 baptized. This is both within the church and its outreach ministries. November–December 2011 there were 189 salvations and 11 baptisms. Many of our church people have grown spiritually. The teenagers are taking a stand for God at home and at school. There is a good group of teens and adults who go soul winning. The statistics of the church we helped to start last year are not included here. That church is doing well.

SFAR NORTH, CANADA, QUEBEC, DRUMMONDVILLE, Jean Rousseau Family—They write, Please pray for the following unsaved folks that have visited the ministry of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in the last few months: F., the L.s, M.-P.'s parents, M.'s husband, A. and R., C., and J. D..... Of our different contacts in the Gospel, two ladies have trust Christ as their personal Savior. One is a 21-year-old lady named M.-P. The other is a 78-year-old lady named Ms. L. Please pray for these dear ladies as I teach them concerning their new life in Christ and their need to be baptized.... Please pray for these two faithful ladies that the Lord might open their eyes to the truths of Scripture as they now learn to walk with Him.

WESTERN EUROPE, ESTONIA, VIMSI, Rob and Angela Willoughby. They give the following report: I was greatly privileged with the honor of baptizing A. on Christmas Day. The Oleviste congregation was very gracious to let us take part in their baptismal service. Afterwards, we celebrated at a local restaurant with A., his wife, and my former language teacher, who comes faithfully to our services. It was a day of victory. Praise God for His goodness.... While Estonians have no time for God, they seem to also have little time to work on their marriages. A total of five people went through the "Five Languages" courses with me last year. I plan to run the course again this winter and to start up a monthly discussion/support group, where we will deal with the Bibles teaching on marriage more directly. For this group I hope to draw from the people who already attended the marriage course. Pray that God will lead me in this endeavor.

SUSA MINISTRIES, CONNECTICUT, TERRYVILLE. David Townsley Family—They give the following report and prayer needs: The highlight of the Christmas season was definitely the Christmas Eve Service. Being out first year, I was not sure if anyone would come. To my amazement, we had a good Sunday morning attendance with several people bringing their relatives! Some heard the Gospel Christ message for the first time. The candlelight closing was moving as we reflected on the birth of Christ. Because of the many people saved this fall, we now have over 20 people who could be baptized. However, several are hesitant to take this step of faith because if their religious backgrounds. Pray with us that the Lord would provide a baptistry as I believe this would be a great encouragement for these new believers to take this next step of obedience. Also, pray for:
1. These new believers to continue Bible study and church attendance.
2. Pray for people to be saved and baptized.
3. Pray for people to grow in Christ.
4. Pray for protection from Satan's attacks.
5. Pray for first-time visitors.
6. Pray for the provision of the remaining remodeling costs, including baptistry.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, AUSTRALIA, CAIRNS, Dan and Sandy DeLong— They write the following: Already now in the new year, please pray for wisdom, strength and guidance as we continue our work here in Cairns. Pray for those who have trusted Christ as their Savior that they will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). This is probably the biggest burden and prayer—not only to see more people saved, but to see those who have been saved grow in the Lord, become faithful and involved themselves and their families in the world of the Lord through witnessing and service. I'd be grateful for your prayers for the following also:

** Coastline Baptist Church—being in the middle of summer, many of our folks are on holiday (vacation). Most will return in time for their children to begin the new school year that starts January 24. Pray the folks will return with renewed fervor and love for the Lord and ready to serve Him in this New Year.
**Our weekly soul winning and letterboxing outreach—there are still many to reach for Christ in this area.

SSOUTH AMERICA, BOLIVIA, SANTA CRUZ, Tony and Sarah Henderson—They give the following report: Over a decade ago, I was standing in the church yard with one of our teenagers. While we were there, three drunken teenagers walked by making jokes at us. One of them in particular placed two fingers on his head as to symbolize Satan. He later exclaimed, "Satan Lives." My jokingly response to that was, "I know he lives because I see how his children are behaving!" Over the past several years I have made attempts to witness to him and his family. In December his wife started coming to church. On Christmas morning she got saved. That evening her husband came with her to a Christmas banquet that we hosted. On Monday, December 26, he made a profession of faith in his home! It is interesting to see that the "harvest" may come many years after the "seed has been sown."

BRAZIL, SÃO PAULO, Kirk and Kathy Hickok–The Hickoks are veteran missionaries having served in Brazil since 1975, and they give the following very exciting report. "We had a wonderful Christmas conference that ended in a baptism. Kirk and Agenor baptized together. We also went out caroling to some shut-ins with the young people and then invited them to the house for the traditional reading of the Christmas story and refreshments afterwards...we have always said that Christmas is what we make it as far as customs that revolve around Christ, and so we are trying to help them to see that it is a great time for ministreing and sharing the Gospel with others.

"We have come a long way since the day in October when we prayed over the land in Barrinha. The land was fully paid for, and we turned our eyes towards building. The blueprint was drawn up and paid for and we were ready. With about $4,000 (US) accumulated in the church account in Sertaozinho, we were able to get the foundation laid and bought the bricks and the steel to go up with the walls...Pray for us as we try to get this church up and ready for occupancy...We pray for a great harvest of souls."

WESTERN RUSSIA, ORYOL, Don and Ruth Ossewaarde–They give the following report and prayer needs: "We have received several more letters from inmates in the local hospital for the criminally insane. I'm not sure how they got my address, but I am glad to respond to them. Most of their letters are simple requests for a Bible. We send them Bibles, some Christian books, and a long personal letter that clearly explains the plan of salvation." They ask that you pray for an inmate.

EAST AFRICA, UGANDA, MBARARA, James and Anna Huckabee– They write the following: "These last few months have gone by so quickly! The Vacation Bible School in August ministered to almost 300 children. We are already planning another for January 2012. September included a baptismal service with four people baptized. We also observed the Lord's Supper for the first time in the organized church in Sangano. James has been teaching each Wednesday to the men (and any women who will attend) out of the book of Genesis, dealing with some very important facts about man's origin and helping to dispel myths that are being taught by various cults at the camp. Anna was able to attend for three of the Wednesdays and teach the women about the Women of Genesis."

We are looking forward to 2012 and to all that God will do in our ministry here! Thank you to each of you for praying and for participating in our ministry. We could not be doing this without your help."

SOUTHEAST ASIA, NEPAL, KTM, James and Holly Tamang–They give the following: "Our God is wonderful and He is in the soul saving business. Since our last baptism day, T.'s mother-in-law had been sick and was about to die. It was amazing how God is so wonderful in answering our prayers. God is still working in Napal. T. prayed earnestly for her mother-in-law, who was about to die, to get well. While on the way to the hospital, she started to feel better and was brought back home. Because of T.'s prayer getting answered, H.'s (her husband) heart was touched by knowing how wonderful T.'s God is. Not long after, H. accepted Christ as his own personal Saviour.

One day at a discipleship class with about three others, a young lady was brought. She has a crippled hand that she said came on her after she got a childhood fever. We learned that her father is a witch doctor, but she does not live with him as he is in the village. She lives with her sister where she works and does daily chores and also at another sister's. She does what she can with her crippled hand. We also found out she was suffering from demonic attacks. Please pray for U."

WESTERN EUROPE, GERMANY, SALZ, Dan and Tricia Dubbe–They write, "As we look back over this year we are thankful for so many things such as the two weddings of young people in our church and to see them thriving in their lives together and their love for God, the baptisms this summer, the church camp meeting in June, two new missionaries that the church now supports, the souls saved this year, several teaching seminars involving overcoming addictions and the Christian counseling training that has been a great help to the church family. This year the church started four new home meetings in towns surround the church. There are great opportunities here for further outreach to neighbors and people in these towns that would not normally drive a half hour or more to the church services. Please pray for these meetings, and as the Lord blesses there are other towns and host families where additional meetings could start. We are also thankful for the situations this year where the Lord had to get the attention of the church or us personally, and we have learned to more fully embrace God's grace and promises!"

USA MILITARY, JAPAN, MISAWA, Sammy and Joan Popwell–They write the following: "We pause this time of the year to look back on what had been accomplished for the Lord. Here at Misawa we have seen over 25 people saved and baptized. We survived the large earthquake. We had two young ladies answer God's leading to missions. One feels God wants her to be a medical missionary. We had one to graduate from the Faith Bible Institute and four that should graduate in May of 2012. I thank God for this good ministry.

Our outlook for 2012 is one with mixed emotions. We start losing our faithful crew that has been with us for three years. We will lose over 50% of our members by the end of August 2012. This will be hard to overcome. Thanks for your prayers and support this year! We could not have been here if it were not for you and your people supporting us."

Prayer Requests
• For souls to be saved and strengthened here in Misawa
• For our son as he finishes up his work for a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering
• For the men of the chruch which are deployed
• For physical strength for Joan and me

CARIBBEAN, JAMAICA, ST. VINCENT, Swante and Linda Lindquist–They write, "Your prayers for the young lady, G., have been much appreciated. Please continue to keep her before the Lord, as there is much in her life that is changing. Her family and friends think she has gone crazy, because she is living for the Lord. Her refusal to step back into her old ghetto lifestyle is quite a testimony of God's work in her heart. What a blessing! She regularly attends Wednesday night Bible Study, and has been to church twice. However, being in church at all seems to be a struggle for her. In her home life, she is surrounded by vice and demonic activities. Pray for us as we need God's wisdom in how to guide her."

USA MILITARY, GERMANY, Joe and Laura Passaro–They give the following report: "Harvest Baptist Church is continually seeing spiritual growth. We just ordered some books which deal with today's issues and Bible truths, which I believe will help improve our walk with God. Also, one of the chaplains I spoke of last time recently broke his leg and damaged a few of his tendons. He is part of an Airborne Unit that did a night jump, which saw them miss their jump zone and go into a tree line." Please pray for him and the Passaros as they reach out to soldiers stationed in Germany.

SOUTH AMERICA, ECUADOR, GUAYAQUIL, Raymond and Anita Bradley–They write the following: "Our Mission Conference was a blessing. Brother Scott Crabtree, deaf pastor from Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee was with us. Six people received the Lord, and there were other important decisions made as well. Three deaf siblings, whom we have helped for about 11 years, have been struggling to decide to live for the Lord. They are more faithful in attending church now. The oldest one, Damaris, has been witnessing and bringing Gospel tracts to share with co-workers. Pray for them: D., A. and K. They have great potential to serve the Lord full-time."

WESTERN EUROPE, IRELAND, DUBLIN, The Canavan Family–They give the following report: "New Building–About 50 yards from our current location, an old Church of Ireland school hall became available earlier this year. The location and nature of the building made it ideal for church use. Continuing in prayer, we felt the Lord was in it. Not willing (or able) to pay the rent the landlord desired, we went into an eight month tug of war to lower the rent and obtain key terms. As times it seemed certain we were not going to be able to rent the building; the spiritual opposition seem palpable. We were much in prayer. Eventually, things started to fall into place. We were filled with thanksgiving to God for making it all possible.

The hall, though 114 years old, is in good condition. The move and fit out has gone incredibly well. The folks who come to church are exceptionally excited about being in a bigger, brighter, dryer (a big issue in Ireland!) place. The level of participation has been heartening. The son of a church member did an excellent job building a platform. We are doing almost everything thing else ourselves such as repairs, upgrades, and installing a sound system to keep cost down."

Prayer Requests
Salvation: D., M., S., G. K., S. K., B., B., D., A., and B.
Baptism: C., P.
Triplets: Continue to grow in the Lord, good friends while in Bible college

WESTERN EUROPE, ENGLAND, LIVERPOOL, James and Andrea Mansfield–They write giving the following report: "We have enjoyed many opportunities to reach out into the community including street preaching, soul winning, having many of our neighbors for Bonfire Night, and baking goodies for special people like our postman, local butcher, etc. We have seen 11 people saved through these efforts. Please continue to pray about a building for our church as the Scout Hall is not meeting our needs anymore. We have been diligently searching, finding several promising options, but the Lord has shut the door on them. Another opportunity has come up that I am diligently praying about. There are a lot of government control and red tape involved in even renting a storefront so it can be quite tricky." PRAY FOR THIS SITUATION.

CENTRAL AMERICA, MEXICO, Don and Carolyn Carney–They give the following report: "God is still working in the hearts of people. For example, B. is an elderly lady who has to live with her daughter L. for several years. She has always been a difficult person–unwilling to listen to the Gospel. L., one of our faithful church members, has been burdened for some time to see her mother saved. I tried to befriend her and witness to her, but she constantly interrupted me and changed the subject. But one day, my wife Carolyn decided to try a fresh approach. She took several large pictures to illustrate Adam and Eve, sin, Jesus' birth, the Cross, etc. Suprsingly, B. never said a word, and after listening to the presentation, she received the Lord as her personal Savior. Isn't that a blessing?"

We need you to pray: (1) that those who have recently received Christ will be faithful to church and tak the step of baptism, (2) that God will work in the heart of A. concerning full-time service, (3) that O., my assistant, will continue to grow and be open to God's will for his life, (4) that the believers will be faithful in the matter of tithing and reaching others for Christ, (5) and that God will stir us up here in Merida and give us a miracle on 12th street."

SOUTH AMERICA, VENEZUELA, MARACAIBO, The Tim Carte Family–They write, "We are rejoicing over the report that 65 people making professions on faith during the last 4 months of the church plant in Maracaibo. This means that we have seen 100 people profess faith in Christ this past year. Almost half of these people are faithfully attending the cell meetings or Sunday service and we are working to disciple most everyone.

We have only 5 names for those who are planning to be baptized but this list is growing. Remember, baptism will bring ridicule and separation from family members for most new converts in Venezuela. We trust the Lord to have 50 for our first baptismal service in 2012. Please continue to pray for the spiritual growth of these new converts."

AFRICA, CANARY ISLANDS, LAS PALMAS, Terry Sharp–He gives the following prayer needs for His glory: • Progress in building approvals
• Salvation of A., A., N.
• B., and E.
• Spiritual growth of V., J., C., A., M., Y.
• ÃWisdom in each opportunity to witness

FAR EAST, CAMBODIA, PHNOM PENH, Dave and Debbie Board–They write, "Last month we celebrated the one year anniversary of Pacific Baptist Church in Phnom Penh. Things were very hectic to say the least. It is hard to believe that the church is already one year old. The Lord has done so many wonderful things in the lives of those who have been a part of the church over the past year. We were very blessed to have at least 410 folks in attendance for our anniversary weekend! There may have been a few more. Our people were very surprised and excited. We do not, as a rule, set numerical goals, but for the anniversary Sunday we were hoping for 350.

Please pray for M., S., R. and V. will be saved very soon.•

EAST AFRICA, ZAMBIA, NDOLA–The Andrew Schultz Family: They give the following report, "This month we had our first baptism service at our new church in Miengwe. Five men were baptized. We look forward to seeing much growth at Miengwe as this Zambian-led Bible study matures the church.

Although the tribal chief of the Miengwe area offered us land for a church property, we ran into some difficulties getting the local government to approve. When the headman at Miengwe heard about our difficulties, he traveled all the way to Ndola on public transportation and met with the government official on our behalf. It turns out that although the headman does not attend our Bible studies, his grown son soes. (He was one of the five baptized). The headman explained to the government official that the change in his son has been so evident that he wants our Bible study to continue and have a permanent meeting place so that others can be helped and changed the way his son has been. What a wonderful testimony! The government official gave approval and we had now moved on to the next step in the bureaucratic process...Please continue to pray with us for more laborers for this ripe and ready harvest field."

SOUTH AMERICA, COLOMBIA–The Mark Gerosin Family: They give the following report and prayer needs, "The youth group has been venturing out. In the past several months they have planned and done several activities. They had their first ever soul winning day. They put together a harvest party for the children in the church and taught them about the dangers of Halloween. They are planning an all night prayer meeting and also a hang gliding adventure. Praise the Lord they are taking ownership for the group and themselves.

Our Prayer Requests:
• Cultural adaptation and language learning
• Salvation for our neighbors and classmates
• Spiritual growth for the church plant in La Campina
• Spiritual growth for new converts
• Direction for ministry after language school

WESTERN EUROPE, ESTONIA, JOHVI–Ron and Rachel Winkler: They write, "We are excited to share with you the wonderful news that L. (who has been mentioned in our last two prayer letters) accepted Christ as her personal Savior. It is such a privilege to be used of God and share His love with others. L's excitement as a Christian is a blesing. She recently told my wife and me that while looking in her purse she saw the tracts that I had given her. That day she had the opportunity to give those tracts out and was told 'thank you' by each person. The delight on her face said so much more than just mere words. L. needs the prayers of brothers and sisters in Christ as she grows in her walk with the Lord."

FAR NORTH, CANADA, BRITISH COLOMBIA, NEW WESTMINISTER–Gary and Sherrie Lester: They give the following, "Coming into fall has brought along with it all the fall ministries. Our Bible Institute got off the ground with a group of four students. All of them have truly enjoyed learning about the New Testament through the New Testament Survey Class. It excites me, as I see God used what He has taught me, to teach others. Their enthusiasm to grow and learn more about God's Word is what God can use in their lives to spiritually mature them.

The public school ministry is also back in full swing...The deaf ministry is slowly growing–as deaf ministries do. Sherrie has finished teaching her second sign language class and has now been able to start to see some of her first students learning how to intepret for parts of the service. Please pray for this ministry as it needs God's hand. Please pray especially for a young married deaf lady who is saved and is praying for her husband to come to Christ." The Lesters ask that you pray for the health needs of their daughters and also for Sherrie.

USA MILITARY MINISTRIES, GERMANY, MANAHEIM–Tom and Dottie Lancaster: They write, "We have seen our military community draw down dramatically in the last 12-16 months. And at the same time we have seen a great outpouring of His Spirit upon our church. There has been an influx of German nationals and other nationalities. We are still seeing people saved and baptized on almost a weekly basis. This is a melancholy time for Dottie and me, but we are thrilled at what God is doing and what we believe His will is for our future when the base finally closes next summer.

One of the highlights of the past few weeks was the official chartering of our new sister church, Grace Baptist Church in Wiesbanden, Germany. Our son, Mark, had been faithfully working to get this church started and God has blessed in a tremendous way. There is great potential here and we ask that you pray for Mark and Julie and the church."

BRAZIL, JARDINOPOLIS–Paul and Sharon Pritchards: They are on furlough and give the following report, "The Lord has allowed me the joy of preaching in our churches that help us and are praying on our behalf and for the ministries in Brazil. We received some good news from Brazil. There have been some additions to the churches since we have been in the States on furlough.

The new works also are seeing people saved in the past few months. We praise the Lord for the faithfulness of the men and ladies that are working in our churhes in Brazil. We are very thankful for all of you. Because of your prayers and support we can labor on the mission field in Brazil. Please continue to pray for Sharon and me as we pray for all of you."

USA MINISTRIES [RESEEDING AMERICA]–Bob and Jennifer Larson: They give the following prayer request for their ministry:
• Reseeding America Church Planters who are starting churches in 2012
• Three men who are making application with BIMI Reseeding America in December to start churches in the Northeastern United States
• Good health, travel mercies, and no mechanical difficulties with our truck as we cover thousands of miles in the Southwestern United States this winter and spring
• Two new churches that have contacted us recently for help in assisting their church planters

WESTERN EUROPE, IRELAND. KILDARE–Bob and Kathi Zemeski: They give the following report, "Our health problems had hindered our summer ministry. We did not distribute the Guide Post paper with a gospel DVD. These projects still are in the plans to be enacted.

Recently, E. R. has visited us with a girlfriend and expressed a desire to return to us. I have been contacted about a fellow from Denmark who has yet to come. This year we had one profession of faith and one baptism with no increase in church membership. Please pray for the Zemeskis as they serve the Lord in Ireland.

SOUTH AMERICA, CHILI, SANTIAGO–Clifton and Tiffany Booth: They give an exciting report as follows, "Exciting things have been happening in our church in Santiago. Two more people have accepted Christ as their Savior. One of them is the husband of a young couple that has been visiting. After just visiting twice, they expressed an interest in our discipleship ministry. Shortly thereafter, they began the weekly home Bible studies and through this ministry, he accepted Christ as Savior. The other is a 12-year-old. He, his mother, and younger brother have just recently begun attending our church and during the Sunday school time, he accepted Jesus."

Prayer Requests at a Glance...
• Pray that God would provide us with the– funds to buy a permanent facility for the church.
• Pray for Adrain and family that God will work greatly in their lives.
• Pray for our furlough. That God would keep us safe and help us to find a small amount of new support.

CARIBBEAN, WEST INDIES, TRINIDAD, CARAPICHAIMA–David and Terri Long: They write, "God brought an unusual opportunity for soul winning. Major work was being done on the main road, so all the traffic was diverted through our neighborhood. Our house has a speed bump right outside our gate, so drivers had to slow down. We handed out hundreds of tracts over a few days.

Since our last letter, we saw twelve people saved on soul winning and in our services.

Prayer Requests:
1) Pray for us as we start another series of lessons for new converts. We had as least three people interested.
2) Pray for us to have more people saved, for more people to come to our church services, and the people coming now would be faithful.
3) Pray for more people that have been saved to get baptized.

CENTRAL EUROPE, UKRAINE, ODESSA–John and Dawn Spillman: They write, "We are hearing good comments about the literature we are printing and sending out. One book about principled Christian living is receiving much attention, thanksgiving and acclaim. The Chick Tracts we've been handing out are usually received well, and we've had a number of visitors lately that have received literature and an invitation in their mailbox. Please pray the preaching will help them, and the personal attention from our members will attract them to come again and that they'll be saved. Concerning the printing ministry, please pray for wisdom in decision-making, and for two new books we hope to do next year."

WEST AFRICA, IVORY COAST–The Mach Family: They give the following, "Our Bingerville church is doing well in spite of our absence and in spite of the political crisis and war that hit the country at the end of 2010 going into 2011. Many of our church members have expressed to me their belief that the prayers of the churches in the States saved them from much heartache and tragedy.

...The Zanapledougou church has continued without difficulty as well. Given that this church is in the extreme north of the country, it was relatively untouched by the conflict. As well, the church is now accepted and respected within the village. Anytime that the village has a special ceremony or activity, our church's pastor is given a place of honor and called upon to pray.

...In conclusion, our family has experienced many personal difficulties since our return. These difficulties are in the areas of our transportation, communication, and the utilities at our home. There is also some ministerial developments that took place during our absence that have to be corrected. Your prayers for these areas would be greatly appreciated."

USA MINISTRIES, CONNECTICUT, TERRYVILLE–The David Townsley Family: They give an outstanding report of their activities as follows, "Six people saved last month! God worked especially in saving souls. B. and her mom have been attending for several months. When Pastor and Mrs. Reitenbach began Bible studies with them, B. was unsure of salvation. After two hours of searching and explaining God's Word, she decided to settle the issue and trust Christ!

In their last letter, they asked prayer for X. and J. The Townsleys led them to the Lord! Also, another lady was saved as a result of a reccommendation to the church by a pastor in Massachusetts. PRAY FOR HIS NEW WORK IN CONNECTICUT!

WORLD MISSION CENTER, TENNESSEE, HARRISON–Tim and Roxanne Leonard: They give this report, "Every day is busy for me, and I love it. However, this summer has been overwhelming for me. I have worked extra long hours here at the World Missions Center and on our property, cleaning up the mess after the storm last April. I am glad to tell you that in October we were able to begin construction on our new house. I expect to take several months to finish. Thanks for your prayers and gifts during this time of special need."

USA MILITARY, JAPAN, YOKOSUKA. Ed and Elvie Navato. They have recently joined this ministry and give the followng report and prayer needs, "For this report, since we arrived in Yokosuka in 1 July 2011, many have joined Yokosuka Baptist Church, over 20 souls prayed to trust CHRIST, and 14 converts were Scripturally baptized...We are conducting discipleship Bible studies with some of them."

Your prayers for our Sailors and Marines here at Yokosuka US Naval Base, and the Navato family are greatly appreciated. Would you take a few seconds and pray for us? Thank you kindly and God bless you.

EUROPE, MOLDOVA, HINCOSTI. The Gross Family. These folks have listed as praise and prayer requests the following:

• Praise the Lord for D. and others who trusted Christ as Savior at VBS.
• Praise the Lord for God providing a house for us to rent.
• Pray for the English ministry and for students to be saved.
• Pray for continued language progress.
• Pray for T., R., S., L., C., V., A., P., Vi., D., Q., and G.'s salvation.
• Pray for wood to become available soon for us to buy to heat our home. It's only sold by the government.
• Thank you for your prayers and financial support.

SOUTHEAST ASIA, CAMBODIA, PHNON PENH. Dave and Debbie Board. They give the following very exciting report, "While traveling down the highway, just about 2 miles outside the village, the back axle broke causing the right wheel to totally separate from the Tuk Tuk. Additionally, the front end of the Tuk Tuk got totally tweaked. This happened directly in front of the Buddhist temple. There is no human reason that the entire vehicle did not tip over and throw the 8 workers out onto the road. Of course, the accident drew quite a bit of attention. The news immediately spread back to the Cham village that there had been and accident. As is after the case, the accident was exaggerated and news spread among the Muslims that the "foreigner's god" was very weak and could not protect His followers. (They wrongly assumed that the Tuk Tuk overturned and that people were hurt.) When they finally learned that everyone was safe, they were truly amazed. It was reported to me that the news spread throughout the village that 'Jesus must be a very powerful God if He is able to keep a Tuk Tuk from overturning and hurting everyone.' We are thankful for God's protectiion as well as for the lessons that we are all learning through this event."

WORLD MISSION CENTER, TENNESSEE, HARRISON. Dan and Sharon Daugherty. Their responsibilities involve keeping the grounds (many acres of land) landscaped. Sharon assists Dan and works half day in the insurance office. They give the following report, "The grass, flowers, and trees withered with the heat and dryness of summer in Tennessee. How welcome was the eleven and a half inches of rain in early September. Men came with a lift to cut down five large dead trees near some of our buildings. We were left with the job of hauling off the logs and cleaning up the mess.

Work continues on a new mission home. Dan has been involved with yard work, electric wiring and drywall. Pray for continued safety for the workers.

Repair work on machinery has been required, too. The skidsteer, the backhoe, a mower engine, and flat tires all need constant attention. Pray for wisdom in the repair and upkeep of these needed tools.

October has been busy with replanting flowerbeds, reseeding grass, and watering to get the seed to germinate and grow before the cold days of winter arrive."

CARIBBEAN, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. Joshua and Joy Wesson. They give the following, "In our last prayer letter we mentioned that J. P. had accepted Christ as his Savior in our home. He and his dear wife, both of them deaf, come faithfully to all three services each week and show a sincere desire to please the Lord and be faithful Christians. We recently gave each of them a new Bible (donated by BEAMS Ministry and Hargrove Baptist Church in DeQuincy, Louisiana). They are so pleased to have their very own Bible. We appreciated your faithfulness to pray for and support our family and ministry on a regular basis."

SOUTH AFRICA. Richard and Laura Badgett. The Badgetts are on furlough but are giving the following report and prayer needs on their mission field in South Africa: "Please pray for the Calvary Baptist Church in South Africa. They are missing their missionary pastor and struggling to maintain a good attendance level. Our core group is coming but not faithfully as they should. Some are in the middle of their matrix exams, others are trying to start families, some are trying to maintain business, and others are struggling with sin. They need the fellowship of God's people and the genuine worship of Almighty God through the preaching of God's Word. So often the One who wants to help and comfort us is the first to be forsaken.

Please pray for Evangelists David Maynard, Mike Neilson, Bill Smith and me as we set up the annual Baptist Tent Revival in the Masoyi. We are asking God that the church in White River will be strengthened and revived through prayer and the preaching of God's Word."

FAR EAST, MONGOLIA, ULAANBAATAR. Jason and Mary Ritchie. They are in language school and give the following report, "Nadaam is a time of festival and national pride, a welcomed sign that summer has officially arrived. We are not able to particiapte much this year since we were just beginning to settle in, but in future years we look forward to celebrating the "three main games" of horse racing, archery and wrestling.

After our summer break, it is good to get back to language lessons full time. I have begun to study with a private tutor in addition to my formal language classes. I have morning classes, and Mary and I study in the evening until about 8:30. We do have some time in the afternoon, however, and we continue to reach out and develop relationships with Mongolians as we can. We look forward to being able to speak freely of our Lord Jesus some day. Continue to pray for our language acquisition."

BRAZIL, LONDRINA-PARAND. The Ed Johnson Family. The Johnsons assisted a fellow missionary's church in a special outreach in Sao Paulo. It went well with 14 people who responded to the Gospel. While there they did some survey work and gave the following report: "After being in the city of Sao Paulo, my family and I took a survey trip to several other cities in the states of Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte. My heart is heavy after seeing first-hand the need for true Bible-believing, Gospel preaching churches. Brazil has reached a religious crisis through the charaismatic influence and the ecumenism that comes with it. I saw tons of "Christian" churches, but the vast majority of these churches were Pentecostal, feel-good type churches where biblical doctrine and consecration to God are replaced by motivational speaking and money-making gimmicks to "bless" the people...Please pray that God would send more laborers to this needy country."

USA MINISTRIES TO SPANISH SPEAKING, ARKANSAS, LITTLE ROCK. Ed and Barbara O'Brien. Please pray for the O'Briens who are having some physical problems. They give the following report, "We also ask for your prayers for a lady and her 11-year-old son. Some of our people knocked on her door and witnessed to her about six months ago. She showed some interest, but never came to church. Recently she saw us with the couple who had visited her and came over to say 'Hi.' We invited her again and this time she came...she has now been attending our church for several weeks and received the Lord as her Savior on Sunday, October 9. She has also been inviting and bringing others to church with her." Her son was hesitant but has been saved. Now they are both faithfully attending. PRAY FOR THESE NEW CHRISTIANS!!

USA MINISTRIES, CONNECTICUT, TERRYVILLE. The David Townsley family. They give the follow praise and prayer report, "'They're inviting us to their church! That's so nice!' A spectator at the Bristol Mum Festival Parade thought it special that we would invite them to church. With a float full of happy singers and ten people handing our invitations that included the Gospel, Riverside was able to give out the Gospel and make a difference in the community. Almost all of the spectators took an invitation as we gave out 4,000 invitations in one hour and 15 minutes! Please pray that souls would read the Gospel and be saved and that people would come to church.

Happy 1st anniversary to Riverside Baptist Church! With 60 people attending, the anniversary was exciting. As part of the day,the church heard from State Senator Welch, saw a video telling the church history, and enjoyed the 'Ladies of Grace' singing group. In addition, three families attended for the first time. Praise the Lord for this exciting and encouraging day!

Please pray for: 1.Parade attendee to visit the church, 2. People to be saved and baptized. 3. People to grow in Christ. 4. Protection from Satan's attacks. 5. First-time community visitors to return to church. 6. Provision of the remaining remodeling cost. Of the needed $55,000, God has provided $16,000 to date. Thank you for praying!

FAR NORTH, CANADA, QUEBEC, DRUMMONDVILLE. The Jean Rousseau Family. They give the following prayer needs:

• For new contacts with the unsaved
• For spiritual and numerical growth at Good Shepherd Baptist Church
• For good decisions in the life of G. and M. C.

SOUTH AMERICA, PERU, CHICLAYO. Lee and Eva Johnson. They share the following report and prayer needs: "I was invited to preach in a youth meeting in the city of Trujillo, three hours south of Chiclayo, from the 28th – 30th. The Lord blessed wonderfully. Nine people trusted Jesus as their Savior. Amen!

From August 3rd-7th, I went to preach up in the small village of San Pedro, located ten hours northwest of Chiclayo. It was also a Family Conference, where it was wonderful to see families getting right with God and seeing the importance of having godly influences in their lives. Twelve people came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God is still in the saving business."

EUROPE, SIBERIA, KRASNOYARSKI. The Hearron Family. They give the following report, "In our last newsletter I told you of I.'s profession of faith. She has been a blessing to our family. Our children have taken a particular liking to her. For most of the spring and into the beginning of the summer, I's common law husband was faithful to attend services. He has heard the Gospel but has yet to repent and believe on Christ. Please pray that I might have further opportunity to witness to him. Also, pray for husband and wife L. and N. L. is I.'s mother. She battles alcoholism; however, she has attended church a handful of times. On one visit to their home, I met her husband. Pray that I might have further opportunity to witness to him.

V. and her two daughters have started attending church again. Our family has known her for most of our time in Siberia. She has several issues that hinder her Christian growth, but we hope that in her coming, her two young daughters would one day come to Christ. Pray for this family. Her children were fathered by an Uzbekistani. He works remodeling jobs in Krasnoyarsk. On two occasions I have had opportunity to witness to him. He has asked for an Uzbek Bible. If someone could find this Bible and send it to me I will give it to him."

SOUTH AFRICA. David and Julie McCrum. They write, "In July we baptized five people. Three were new believers and two others, though saved for some time, were following Christ in believer's baptism. Several others joined the church that day. What a great celebration we had welcoming these new folks into the FBC family.

In a previous letter we mentioned that our church was saving for a new van. In recent months our people have doubled their own giving and were subsequently able to pay $39,400 for a 10-seat 2010 Toyota Quantum for ministry use. The Lord has added several new families who are faithful and generous givers. We are excited to use the van to provide transport to the services for those who don't have a car of their own. Please pray with us as we also seek to begin our youth ministry again, now that we have the means to pick up the young people. Sincere thanks to several churches who have also shown interest in this project."
