Our Existence

BIMI is committed to keeping the main thing the main thing: The Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-19). As the Church labors to fulfill this standing order, BIMI yields its resources in an effort to aid local churches in their labor to send missionaries to the field of God's calling. These "sent ones" stand in the gap and perform the work of the local church on the foreign mission field by evangelizing the lost through clear presentations of the Gospel in a culturally relevant fashion. Once a nucleus of baptized believers is developed, it can be organized into a local, autonomous Baptist church. National leadership is trained to lead this newborn church in spiritual growth and maturity. This is accomplished through Bible colleges and institutes where pastors and lay leaders are equipped to assume leadership roles.
