Costa Rica
BIMI missionaries have served in Costa Rica since 1966. A good number of churches have been established in several cities throughout the country. Several Bible Institutes are functioning under the auspices of local churches. In the past, our missionaries have done a tremendous job with the training of national leadership. The challenge the Costa Rican ministry faces today is twofold. First, we need church planting pioneers that are willing to go to areas where there has been no church established. Second, we realize that the stability and longevity of any ministry rests on the quality of national leadership. Therefore, we are praying for men with advanced Bible training to come and impart a church planting vision to national pastors.
