Haiti
The country of Haiti is considered to be one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere. It is located on the western one-third of the Island of Hispanola. It is estimated that this country has about 7 million people. Creole is the common language spoken, and French is the official language used. The island claims to be 80% Catholic and 16% Protestant, however, one-half of the population practices Voodoo. Prepare for spiritual warfare.
Currently Don and Bridget Dryden are our only missionaries in this country. There is a great need to evangelize and teach the Word of God. Pray with us that some would answer the call of the Lord to go and labor for souls in Haiti. The need is great, the work is difficult, but the rewards are immeasurable and eternal. Won't you put on the armor of God and join us in the battle for Haitian souls?
