Where 71% of the population is unconverted or nominally Christian.
Where 1.6 million abortions are performed every year.
Where 500 murders are committed every day.
Where 60% of children under 16 years of age have never been to Sunday school.
Where 7 out of 10 teenagers never darken the door of a church.
Where innocent children going to school are gunned down by teenage criminals.
Where every year more churches close their doors than open their doors.
Men and women, who had a reverence for the Word of God, conceived the idea of a United States, and labored to realize the dream. Our early government instituted laws based upon the principles of the Word of God. Unfortunately time has witnessed the shores of America attacked from without and within by an onslaught of social ills born of American's fascination with pleasure, greed, materialism, and self-gratification.
America's face has dramatically changed, as she has become both host and mother to millions of immigrants from Asia, Latin America and Europe during the last several decades. The annual total of foreign-born people immigrating to the United States has climbed from 500,000 in the 1970’s to more than a million at present. The Hispanic population alone has grown from nine million in 1970 to nearly 35 million today. Many immigrants seek refuge from the persecution, prosecution, or poverty of their own countries. They search for the American Dream. They flee to the freedom we take for granted.
While this immigration influx has caused problems for the federal and local governments, it presents new and exciting challenges for Americans to reach their ethnic neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
BIMI missionaries in the USA are involved in planting churches, winning souls, and training nationals. We have ongoing ministries in both rural and inner city areas. Our ministry extends to the Hispanic, Black, Asian, and Indian people as well as to the hearing impaired, homeless, and imprisoned. Satan is on the offensive in America. BIMI desires to see a great church planting movement rise and revive the American conscience. We believe this to be God’s answer to Satan’s offensive. This can only happen when local churches take up the banner and sound the charge to support and promote church planting in America.
What began as a few people with a burden to plant churches in America, erupted into a full-scale missions operation. BIMI currently has more than 100 missionaries stationed across America in ministry roles to a great variety of people groups. God has blessed with thousands of souls being saved in these ministries collectively. God has literally brought the world to our doorstep. We have opportunities today that never before existed. Pray that GOD WILL BLESS AMERICA and provide us with both the laborers and the liberty to reach the Land of the Free.
