Please allow me to introduce myself and my family to you. We are Mark and Brenda Liedtke, recently commissioned by our church, Grace Baptist of Columbus, Ga. under the direction of our Pastor, Dr. Jeff Amsbaugh, as missionaries to the Spanish speaking people in the country of Belize, just south of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

In February of 2009 at our church’s annual missions conference the Lord spoke to our hearts about working in foreign missions. Through much prayer the Lord led us to the 100 Nations Project with Baptist International Mission, Inc. and the country of Belize.

In March of last year we traveled to Belize with our pastor, and surveyed the land. The Lord strongly impressed our hearts with the great need of the Spanish speaking people in Western Belize, along the Guatemalan border.

In December of 2009 we were accepted with BIMI and are excited to start this new venture for the Lord in Belize!

Please pray for us as we desire to be working in Belize by 2012.
