BIMI - David & Diane Carney

David & Diane Carney
Administration Assistant/Public Relations Coordinator/Coordinator of the 100 Nations Project

I was born into a Christ-centered Pastor,’s home in June of 1962. At the age of eleven, my father led me to Christ during family devotions in our living room. A few years later, at a youth conference, I was called to preach the gospel. In 1982, I married my childhood neighbor and sweetheart, Diane. God blessed us with three wonderful children: Stephanie, Stephen and Rachel. I studied for the ministry at Hyles-Anderson College, graduating in 1984 with a degree in Pastoral Theology. I served as a pastor in Johnstown, Pennsylvania from 1985-1993.

Through a gradual process of acquaintance with missionaries and missions, God dealt with my heart about the need of the world. During our church,’s annual missionary conference in 1993, I surrendered to missions. My family and I were appointed with BIMI as missionaries to Russia, where we served in church planting until 2003.

In 2003, the Lord led me to the World Mission Center to become the Administration Assistant and Public Relations Coordinator. In that capacity, I assist the leadership of the mission in a variety of administrative duties, and represent BIMI in churches and colleges across the nation. In 2005, I became the coordinator of The 100 Nations Project. The goal of the project is to expand into 100 nations of the world and mobilize 500 new missionaries by 2010.
