The Edens Family
David & Donna Edens

Serving in Niger, Africa

David and Donna have been missionaries with BIMI since 1971, living in the town of Agadez since 1974. David has translated the New Testament into the Tamajaq language of the Tuareg people of northern and central Niger, which is just being published this year, 2004. Preliminary translations have also been made of Genesis, Exodus, Jona, Ruth, and passages from twenty-five other Old Testament books. David and national Christians produce a weekly radio broadcast in the Tamajaq language and hold weekly Sunday morning services and week night prayer services to encourage the planting of a local Church.
