The Mackay family has been serving the Lord in church planting in Canada since 1994. In 1999 the Lord led them to start the Metro Baptist Church in Burnaby/Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This ministry has opened their eyes and hearts to the spiritual needs of people from all over the world. The metro Vancouver area is home to immigrants from all over the globe, and every Sunday at Metro Baptist Church ten or more nations are represented in the congregation. The Mackays have grown to love this diversity of people and find it thrilling to be able to reach the world through this city.
The Mackays have four children and just welcomed their first grand child in March, 2016. Adrianna, their oldest, is married to David Cripps, and they serve as youth pastor in Baytown, Texas. They have one daughter, Julianne. Erin is the second Mackay daughter and will be married to Jason Cripps on June 24, 2016, the Lord willing. Yes, the Mackay girls married brothers. Jason and Erin will also be serving the Lord in Baytown, Texas. Austin is the Mackays' oldest son. He is faithfully serving the Lord at Metro with his parents as he seeks God's will for his future career. Tyler is the youngest of the Mackay children. He will graduate from high school in May and go to Bible college in the fall. God has called him to be a preacher. Bro. and Mrs. Mackay's greatest goal and dream is to see their children faithfully serving the Lord all of their lives.
