The Smith family is preparing to preach Christ in the capital of Canada. Ottawa, Ontario is home for 800,000 people. The GOA (Greater Ottawa Area) has a population of 1.2 million people.
We plan to church plant with the guidance and help of Carleton Baptist Church, Pastor George Covey. Pastor Covey is an experienced church planter in Canada. Pastor Steven Michel is the assistant pastor at Carleton Baptist. We desire to partner with these pastors and the congregation to church plant in the Ottawa area.
The city boasts that it represents 130 nations of the world. People have immigrated from all over the world...what an opportunity! There is a great need for Independent Baptist churches in Ottawa! God has given us this direction and we are praying that He will use us to reach Canadians and people of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
