Honour All Men

”HONOUR” in the context of I PETER 2:17 as given in Strong’s Concordance maintains the idea of “to prize, fix a valuation upon or to revere.” We are to honor God above everyone else. However the Lord does give us the command to honor His human creation. From 1991 to January, 2000, Dr. Clayton Shumpert served as the CLAIM Director. From January, 2000 to December, 2002, he remained the Coordinator. Throughout this period of time Dr. Shumpert helped raised multiplied thousands of dollars for CLAIM projects. He also supervised many different trips. Partly due to his health he had to make a change in his ministry. As of December, 2002, the Board of Trustees for BIMI accepted Dr. Shumpert’s resignation from CLAIM. These Pastors approved for Dr. Shumpert to become an International Representative for BIMI. Dr. Shumpert remains dedicated to the task of world wide evangelism through the CLAIM ministry. Please pray that Dr. Shumpert will have continued strength and wisdom as he serves the Lord. Behind every good man there is an important lady. Mrs. Shumpert has given years of service in support of Dr. Shumpert and the CLAIM ministry. We in CLAIM honour Dr. and Mrs. Clayton Shumpert for a job well done. Our love and prayers are with you as you continue to serve our wonderful Lord.
