OH! - What a trip
By Bill Ferguson
Marshall Clayton and I left Greensboro, North Carolina, on January 10th and arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at 2:06 P.M. to a beautiful day of 82 degrees. Jeffery Zaricanzy from Great Valley, New York, met us at Maranatha Baptist Church and we soon got to work on the project.
On day one we dug ditches in which the conduit would be buried. We filled in the ditches with sand on the bottom, then the conduit, more sand and then covered them with dirt on day two. Building concrete forms was the project for day three. Day four found us pouring concrete for the pads to hold the electrical unit, the air condition unit and for the rear entrance. We pulled all the wire through the conduit on day five. We called it our “workout” day.
I had the honor of preaching in the new building, although not finished, on Sunday night. During the invitation, a lady in her 60’s came forward for salvation. Please pray for Maria Webster.
We thank Pastor Hamilton, his family, the church and two families from BIMI for making our trip such a blessing. Pray that we can soon have this project completed.
