CARL GOLDMAN - FAITHFULNESS PERSONIFIED

Carl Goldman had a heart willing to go anywhere the Lord led. At a time when many retire, this passion for the Lord led him to apply as an associate missionary with BIMI. In 1999, one month before his seventieth birthday, Carl and his wife Kathy became CLAIM associate missionaries. Carl helped establish a CLAIM ministry called the Ambassador Program at Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, Florida. His wife Kathy states regarding his ministry, “As head of the Ambassadors, he contacted the missionaries our church supported to establish their needs and then he would organize trips. These trips were made available to our church congregation with the goal that everyone in the church would take at least one trip. We know that when a person actually goes to the mission field, they have a new love for missions and a new perspective on how to pray for missionaries. Most trips were for construction projects, but since ladies also came, we included other outreaches such as VBS and passing out tracts and literature.” Carl taught a seventh and eighth-grade Sunday school class and would organize and lead annual teen mission trips.

Carl Goldman, a faithful servant of Christ, passed away on December 2, 2005. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy, and three sons and four daughters.
