GOD IS GREAT!

“For I know that the Lord is great...” (Psalm 135:5).  The trip to Tuxtla, Mexico, in June was fruitful and exciting.  The 14th church for missionary Dr. Armando Guzman was finished and dedicated by a mission team from the Rosedale Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.  Brother Scott Tewell is pastor.  This church in the mountains near Tuxtla was averaging around 30 people.  On dedication night more than 500 attended the service with 19 precious people accepting Christ!  There were 42 people saved during the entire week.  “Joy shall be in heaven over one sinneth that repenteth.”

The day we arrived in Tuxtla, Brother Guzman left for Mexico City with his 19-year old son, Walter. Walter had just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Walter went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2006. Your prayers for Brother Guzman and Deborah during this time of deep loss are needed and greatly appreciated.
