MISSION MYSORE - AN ANSWER TO PRAYER
By Carl Vonnoh, Jr.
At the beginning of this year I asked you to pray for India that the Lord might open up a door for CLAIM to share the Gospel to these precious people. Our prayers have been answered. The good folks of Gwinnett County Baptist Church, under the able leadership of Pastor Rick Camperson and Youth Pastor Robert Hucks, have taken on the challenge.
>Our India project will be to help missionary David Divakar in the state of Mysore to build an orphanage and a mobile medical clinic. Robert Hucks reports, “One month into our raising funds for the medical clinic and orphanage, the young people have raised over $6,000 in cash toward the project and we have committed another $5,000 for medical supplies.” Praise the Lord! Brother Robert continues, “Our initial target is $120,000 for the ministry.” The tentative dates for this project are July 15-29, 2006. Please pray for this project. If you would like to be a part of this huge undertaking or if you would like to donate financially toward this project, please contact Carl Vonnoh for more details.
