Two Montana Missions Projects--Help Needed!

Camp Ministry – From July 23-27, 2007, BIMI church planter, Wayne Voss, in Great Falls, Montana, needs a church group to conduct a camp ministry for Native Americans including Blackfoot, Chippewa, Chippewa-Cree and the Northern Cheyenne. The following workers are needed: 2 cooks, 3 women cabin counselors, 2 men cabin counselors, 2 sports coordinators, 2 people with first-aid experience, 1 person with CPR training and 6 teen helpers. The teens must be 14 years or older and mature. This team must be willing to work together and involve themselves in the activities with the campers. Some of the activities include: crafts, lessons, skits, puppets and activities to enhance the camping experience. Brother Voss stated, “A lot of patience and sincere compassion are needed. ” Pray about helping in this ministry.

Construction Project – Brother Voss would like for a CLAIM team to come during the Spring or Summer of 2007 to do repairs on the church building. Some room and board is available. Others may want to bring their campers for this trip. The church is in need of the following: shingles stripped and replaced; inside and outside painting and concrete repair work; inside walls torn down and replaced; floor tiles removed and replaced; carpet installation in the auditorium; baptistry removed and replaced; lighting installed in basement; replacement of furnace. An estimated $10,000 is needed to complete this renovation project. You may send your contribution to BIMI and designate for account # 515, building renovation project. See project list for details.
