How about Costa Rica?
Mark Gage will be leading four weeks of CLAIM project opportunities in San Jose, Costa Rica, in early 2005 for veteran missionary Terry Jones. The CLAIM teams will be assisting with various phases of construction on a new church auditorium. There will be two back-to-back one week opportunities to serve.
The first is in February (February 5-12 and February 12-19). The second one is in May (April 30-May 7 and May 7-14). Come for one or both back-to-back weeks in February or May. We will need general laborers, concrete workers, a plumber and an electrician during the first week in February. The second week we need general laborers and those who can help lay concrete block.
In May it will be mostly finish work. Drywall workers, painters, an electrician and a plumber, as well as general laborers are needed. Ladies are welcome to come on any of the trips.
We will be staying in a local Bed and Breakfast near the church. A day to see the local attractions is planned.
Right now the airfare is at or under $500 from the U.S. Additional costs will be approximately $350 per week for the Bed and Breakfast, food and transportation.
