a need for God. Our ministry verse is Mark 10:27 that contextually deals with reaching people of affluence: With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Recently, Abby was diagnosed with a rare ter- minal disease called ALS—more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Despite this diagnosis, we are determined to start a church in this needy area of the Northeast. Abby is determined that through this trial, God will get the glory. Perhaps seeing a young Christian family going through this difficult situation is exactly what is needed to bring some of Fairfield's most ardent skeptics to Christ. W Please pray for the Lafreniere (pronounced Laf-ren-ear) family in the following areas: 1. that God will soften the hearts of the people of the Fairfield area towards the Gospel, 2. that God will miraculously heal Abby from ALS, 3. that the Lafreniere family will quickly raise the rest of their needed support, and 4. that God would provide the appropriate place in which the church can meet.
