Reseeding America
at Pensacola Christian College

I appreciated the invitation from Pensacola Christian College (PCC)
to participate once again in a Church Planting Seminar held on their
beautiful campus in Pensacola, Florida. The seminar is held every oth-
er year in April, and this was the fourth time I have had the opportu-
nity to teach and challenge the students for church planting and the
restarting of churches in decline.

Preaching in the seminary chapel was an added blessing this year and
it allowed me another opportunity to encourage the students to be
motivated and mobilized for the Lord while they are in school and as
they come to the end of their training. It is encouraging to see a good
number of men training for the ministry at PCC. The spirit was excel-
lent, and it is obvious that God is at work in hearts.

I always enjoy the one-on-one time with the students during the
Church Planting Seminar. Between my sessions, the students will
come and will introduce themselves and share what God is putting
on their hearts to do after college. It was a joy to hear several of them
talk about starting churches after they receive some practical “on the
job” experience in ministry and church planting. Others wanted to
know about possible intern programs where they would be able to
gain experience in ministry, working under an experienced pastor.

The question-and-answer time this year was one of the highlights of
the seminar. Please pray for these students that God will use many of
them to start churches in many needy areas of America.
