The BIMI PNG BIBLE PROJECT has really
touched the lives of the Morata Baptist Church
congregation and has changed my focus and
attention on my country. Seeing another
generation receive Bibles—over one million
copies—is a milestone that has never happened
in Papua New Guinea. Thank God for the
opportunity that happened in my lifetime. I have
seen the excitement, tears, smiles, etc., that were
shown when children received their Bibles. The
inspiration of this project was when children and
adults got to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and
personal Saviour. Words and ink cannot recap
all those special moments as the Bibleman (Alan
Brooks) entertains and drives the message of
why the Bible is precious to his audience. One
can see the countless countenances of people
reacting with applause and appreciation. This
project was what PNG as a country needed to
build and change our children. Thank you to
all who traveled from USA, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand, and Japan, to help with the
distribution. And here locally, Thank You to all
our missionaries, pastors, preachers, Christians,
churches and fellow Papua New Guineans for
standing and helping with us. Finally, but not the
least, Thank You BIMI and the team. Glory to
God for a mission well done!

Words fail when I think of how to express
gratitude for the way you have invested in the
future of our nation of Papua New Guinea
through providing Bibles for our young
people. On multiple occasions, I have had the
opportunity to speak to over 2,000 high school
students at once, pointing these young people to
the cross while giving them a Bible and a place
to attend church. These opportunities are rare—
but you helped make it possible. Thank you.

We have many young people in our church now
growing up in the Word; and I count it a joy
to look back at a moment when they received
a Bible because of your gracious giving. I
regularly meet young people in the course of
my week, and they tell me, “You gave me a
Bible when I was in 7 th , 8 th , 9 th , etc., grade.” Of
course, I don’t remember their faces, but they
remember the gift. And they are putting these
Bibles to use! I have seen so many well-worn
Bibles with the shiny Bird of Paradise worn
completely off the front from use.

Thank you for being a part of this work and
many other works across the nation through
your participation in the BIMI Bible Project.

Sincerely, Matt Allen
