Back to the eastern side of Canada, Dan
and Jennifer Post are serving in French-
speaking New
Brunswick. Here is part
of their most
recent ministry
report: “There
is a Brazilian
family of five
who have been
coming faithfully as a result of receiving a John
and Romans….Upon their invitation another
man, William, has also been coming faithfully.”
The Posts are also leading their church in the
purchase of a building to better facilitate their
ministry needs. They are asking the Lord and
trusting Him to bring in the funds needed to
make this purchase by December.
While these reports are all recent, the kind of
fruit these missionaries are reporting did not
spring up overnight. This type of harvest is the
result of years of faithful sowing and planting.
It is the result of those who understood
even through COVID restrictions the Great
Commission remains unaltered. It is the result
of missionaries and church members simply
trusting the Lord to work even when the results
are not immediately apparent.
There are many more reports such as these
from missionaries serving with BIMI across
the Far North. There just is not enough space
to fit them all in this article. I am so thankful
for the faithfulness of BIMI missionaries in
the Far North who have met the challenges of
the past few years head-on, thinking outside
the box and finding new ways to minister in
a world where that seemed almost impossible.
But, our theme at BIMI this year encourages us
in Achieving the Impossible…Because God Can!
As I think of the Lord’s faithfulness over the
past few years, I also think of the faithful-
ness of four cou-
ples serving with
BIMI for multiple
decades. Gerald
and Marguerite
Pauley have served
in missions for over
53 years and are presently preparing to start
another church in Québec, where the Lord
has already used them so greatly. David and
Marsha West have been serving the Lord in
the northwest region of Québec, laboring
among the First Nations People for over 45
years and continuing to see fruit. Randall and
Ellen Mumper have served the Lord faith-
fully in missions for over 43 years. They pres-
ently continue to see the Lord do great things
in their church in southern Ontario, Canada.
Tom and Cathy
Talley have been
faithful in their
missions service
for over 41 years.
Each day they live
among and serve
the First Nations
People in northern Manitoba, Canada. The
souls saved and lives changed because of the
combined 192 years of ministry are more than
we can fit in this article, but suffice it to say, it
is all evidence of God continuing to do amaz-
ing things in the Far North!
I am thankful that as missionaries serving in
the Far North will meet together for the first
time since 2018, we will do so knowing that
while we may not understand everything the
Lord was doing over the past few years, we do
know He never stopped moving in hearts and
working in the lives of individuals. There will
be some time for us to discuss the different
challenges from the past few years, but praise
the Lord there will be far more time to discuss
all that He has done in that same time! W

they have been used of the Lord in establishing
five churches and assisting many more in

missionaries, and teachers. On May 18, 2022,
