“…we are labourers together with God…” (I Cor. 3:9). God has wonderfully blessed Baptist International Missions, Inc., through appropriately appointed leadership. The mandate of missions was given to the local church; therefore, the major role of leadership and direction must be in the hands of Godly pastors. BIMI is a Baptist mission outreach, a helpmeet, for independent Baptist churches. Consequently, the mission depends on churches of like faith and practice to authorize and deputize all missionaries that serve with this worldwide mission organization.
We are grateful for the years that Dr. Lew Davis, pastor of Tri-County Baptist Church of West Chester, Ohio, ably chaired the trustee meetings. Dr. Davis, a Godly gentleman with a heart for missions, led his church to be a major supporter of BIMI, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees guided the mission on a course of victory and achievement for the glory of God. Vice Chairman Dr. Louis Baldwin, was elected Chairman after Dr. Davis requested to be replaced. Dr. Gregory O. Baker was elected Vice Chairman.
The Board of Trustees chose Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Baker to be at the helm of this mission ship. Trustees have a TRUST to guard and keep. Pastor Baldwin and Pastor Baker were unanimously selected because they are men of spiritual maturity with solid biblical convictions and will guide the board in fulfilling this grave responsibility.
Rev. James God, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Bloomfield, PA, is a strong supporter of BIMI missionaries. The church is known for its missionary outreach. Pastor God and his congregation have assisted BIMI in many ways. They have helped with mission trips and have provided financial support for special missionary projects and emergency needs on various fields of the world. Thank you, Pastor God, for accepting the responsibility of being a BIMI Trustee, and may God bless Bible Baptist Church.
Dr. David Bragg, pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church in Harrison, TN, has been a friend and major supporter of BIMI missionaries for many years. Lakewood is close to the BIMI World Missions Center and helped purchase the 76.5 acres of mission property. Pastor Bragg has served on different committees and has provided equipment and personnel for special occasions. Thank you, Pastor Bragg, for accepting the responsibility of being a BIMI Trustee, and may God bless Lakewood Baptist Church.
