Living Forever Ministry
“I just wanted to do something for the Lord in memory of my wonderful wife. She was pure, kind, and gentle in heart and spirit. She had trusted the Lord Jesus as Saviour. I wanted to remember her by sharing with a good fundamental organization like BIMI”— Thomas Park Oliver III
Mr. Thomas Park Oliver III was born in Athens, Georgia, and has lived there since birth with the exception of the two years he spent in the Navy in the 40s. He met and married Beatrice Kay Oliver, who is a native of Greenwood, South Carolina. They had two sons.
He worked at several different jobs from selling feed and flour to Fuller Brushes, but most of his adult life was spent in construction work as a welder and pipe fitter. He retired in 1982 just seven years before his wife died in 1989.
Mr. Oliver became acquainted with BIMI through Dr. James Ray at a homecoming service in Athens, Georgia. Dr. Ray gave him a copy of Europe magazine published by BIMI relating to missionaries serving in Europe. Later he wrote to Dr. Ray asking if he could contribute to an endowment fund with BIMI in memory of his wife. Dr. Ray spoke with Jim Lilley, BIMI’s Director of Development and Estate Planning Ministries, who contacted and met with Mr. Oliver and presented to him the Living Forever Ministry For Missions. On September 19, 2002, Mr. Oliver gave $5000 in memory of his wife, Beatrice Kay Oliver. The fund is set up so that the principal of the gift is never used, but the interest is to be used for world evangelism as directed by the Living Forever Foundation’s board. The wonderful thing about this ministry is that a special designation can be organized bearing the name of each individual donor. Until the Lord comes the name and memory of Beatrice Kay Oliver will live and bless others. Her designation under this ministry will be “The Beatrice Kay Oliver Living Forever Fund.”
The principal of the gift is never used, but the interest is to be used for world evangelism - FOREVER!
Perhaps God would have you to become involved in the Living Forever Ministry for Missions. Perhaps there are dear loved ones long departed from this earth for whom you would like to make a donation. Perhaps there are those living NOW who would like to participate in this wonderful ministry.
Your tax-deductible gift to the Living Forever Ministry for Missions makes it possible for you to keep on supporting missions after you have gone to be with the Lord.
While you are in Heaven your mission ministry continues on Earth.
