A Walking Answer to Prayer
On Friday, October 17, 2008, South American Director Roger Blevins brought the staff at BIMI to tears by simply walking into the morning prayer meeting. Actually, this walk was anything but simple! More than eight months earlier, Roger was in an automobile accident that nearly cost him his life. The trauma eventually led to the amputation of a leg. After months of grueling therapy, Roger walked into BIMI’s World Mission Center for the first time since the accident.

He stood behind the podium and thanked the staff for their prayers and support through the tragedy. He praised the Lord for sparing his life and placing him back upon his feet. Seeing the man who wasn’t supposed to live was a strong testimony to the goodness of God and the power of prayer. Welcome back, Roger…we missed you!
