Hungary was one of the first Eastern European countries to embrace.phpects of the market economy while still under Communist rule. Thus, after the fall of Communism its economy more easily transferred to Capitalism. It is today more “modern” than some other former Communist states.
The beautiful city of Budapest is the capital of this strategic country of 10.2 million people. The main religion is Roman Catholic. For the past ten years BIMI has had excellent missionaries present. Their church planting activities have been 100 kilometers north of Budapest in a progressive area where a lot of foreign technological companies have been established.
