St Lucia - Caribbean

St. Lucia is located in the lower Windward Islands, and it has approximately 155,000 inhabitants. This island nation is celebrating 20 years of independence from Great Britain. The primary economy is reliant upon banana exportation. Approximately 90% of the island population are Roman Catholic. Although there are a few good independent Baptist churches led by national pastors on this island, a need still exists to establish more fundamental Baptist ministries.
