The Harmon family served as church planters in Tanzania for nearly 3 years. During that time, God allowed them to plant Bible Baptist Church in the village of Msaranga, Tanzania. The church has been turned over to a local pastor named Yohana who is continuing the church faithfully.

In the Fall of 2022, the Harmons transitioned to Durbin, South Africa to assist the John Matney family in their existing church plant. They are assisting in building a youth group, developing a discipleship plan and Biblical counseling ministry. God is also opening the door for them to teach Bible in the local school and possibly do an outreach ministry to the Swahili speaking refugees that work in the shipping ports.
