Jessica received Christ as her Savior at the age of four. She was baptized at Aomori Grace Baptist Church in Japan. Having grown up in a missionary home, she was always burdened for foreign missions. After Jessica received her bachelors and masters degrees in education from West Coast Baptist College, the Lord directed her to further prepare by working as a Christian School teacher and by being actively involved in the music, youth and children's ministries, and the outreach of her local church. After praying for many years that the Lord would open a door for foreign missions and seeking counsel from godly mentors, she felt the Lord finally answered her prayer and gave clear direction to assist church planters in Christchurch, New Zealand. Preparation and patience are two key words as she steps into this next chapter as a full-time foreign missionary.
