Rick Martin was saved while attending Ozark Bible College in 1972. He later attended Hyles-Anderson College for two years. After surrendering to go to the Philippines, he and his wife, Becky, arrived in Iloilo City in 1977 and started the Iloilo Baptist Church. Later they started Iloilo Baptist College which has sent out trained laborers who have started hundreds of churches and many ministries to reach people in their area. Their ministry sees scores of people saved weekly and a hundred new churches started every quarter with over 2,000 churches started to date. Their goal is to see 1,000 new churches started in 10 years. This is not just a wish, but an actuality of what they have been doing for a number of years already.
