Roxanne Ribeiro

Serving in Brazil

My Info Packet

Roxanne Jean Ribeiro is preparing to return to Brazil, her home country, as a fourth-generation missionary. She was born in Goiânia, Brazil, to missionary parents, Rômulo and Rachel Ribeiro. Her mother’s parents, Tom and Linda Gilmer, arrived back in 1966 in São Paulo, Brazil, where they are still serving through the Trinitarian Bible Society and Jewish missionary work. She received Christ as her Savior at the age of four and felt the Lord calling her into full-time ministry at the age of twelve.

Roxanne has spent most of her life in Goiânia, in the midwest of Brazil, where her family established four independent Baptist churches, a Bible institute, and a Christian school. When she was eight, her family moved to Londrina in the south of Brazil for a couple of years to establish another church, and she has lived in Ribeirão Preto in the southeast of Brazil for the past six years assisting her parents in starting yet another church.

Roxanne is now on deputation preparing to return to Brazil as a single missionary where she plans to work with a church planting team through the deaf ministry, music ministry, children’s ministries, as well as Christian Education.
