Seventh Day Adventist group who came because of the radio station., Recently, we made a trip down to Tacloban, Leyte in our van. We were crossing the San Juanico Bridge; it is a 2 km bridge connecting the Island of Samar with the Island of Leyte. At the top span of the bridge we were able to hear the radio broadcast clearly. That is about 250 km away from our place of ministry. Right now the radio broadcast is reaching about a 50 km radius. Many of our church members are listening. It has been a great help in strengthening the believers in the Word of God. The 60 foot tower on top of our three story church building in the heart of Catarman is rusting and needs to be replaced. We can put a new 150 foot tower at our campsite beside the ocean and reach millions more. From the campsite on a clear day, one can see Mayon Volcano on the Island of Luzon. There are big cities there like Legaspi City and Sorsogon City. Right now, we are reaching the east bank of the large Island of Masbate. Members of a Baptist church there are listening. With the 150 foot tower at the camp, we could reach all the Island of Masbate, and possibly all the way down to Tacloban, Leyte. The cost of the tower is $15,000. Thank you for your prayers and giving for the work here in N. Samar. n For more information go to BIMI WORLD – Number 3, 2009 15
