“Are we going there?” After explaining it all to her, we talked about the move. That was the fall of 1973, and by 1974 God had provided a new headmaster, someone to train to do the finances and we were in Chattanooga— without a car, home, or money! Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). That was 38 years ago. We have served in Chattanooga all these years. We have raised two children here. Never have we not had enough to eat or been without a car to drive or a roof over our heads. God has been faithful to provide more than we needed or ever thought we would have needed. The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful church in which to serve Him in the Chattanooga area. Mary has had the privilege of teaching in the Christian school and has been able to influence many children. I have had the opportunity to teach Sunday school classes, serve as a deacon, and serve on the church finance committee. While I served in the Home Office as Business Manager and Comptroller, we have been able to share in churches, foreign countries and other mission agencies as well as serve the wonderful missionaries and staff of BIMI. We look forward to what the Lord has for us in the coming years at BIMI. We know He will use us and bless us if we are faithful in our service to Him. The Ramseys and Dr. & Mrs. Thompson were recently honored with a luncheon. 18
