the mountains. A wonderful church is reaching out into that community and many Dominicans and Haitians have come to Christ there. Pray for Brother Garrison. Jeff and Traci are taking a furlough so that Jeff can get proper medical care for his condition. They are praying that they will be able to return to Jarabacoa by the end of 2013. Again this year BIMI was blessed to have a full Candidate School. Joy and I enjoyed some time with Kevin Field's new wife, Tashua. Shortly after Candidate School they arrived in Trinidad to fill in for David and Terri Long. Joseph and Donna Childer finished their second year of Candidate School. We are praying that the Lord will provide their support so they can soon be in Grenada serving the Lord. Before Candidate School was over, Evangelist Rocky Williams and I were on our way to Haiti. This year 27 Haitian men graduated from the five-year systematic Bible institute. It is always a highlight to be able to honor these graduates. Every year some go out to start new churches. Others faithfully support their local churches. As a result, the northwest region of Haiti is being impacted by the Word of God and lives are being changed. Several new church plants are underway, and God is raising up Haitian leadership to carry on the work. By the end of June, Joy and I were back to BIMI for CAMP BIMI. As always, God gave us two spectacular weeks for “mission focus.” The first week was a “reunion” week for alumni, and the second week was a week for “newbies”…or first year participants. The Lord worked in hearts and many made commitments to surrender for full-time missions. It will be exciting to see how God works out all the details in the lives of these young people. We praise the Lord that He is still pouring out heavenly blessings as rain upon the thirsty ground. It is our prayer that much fruit will come forth because of our faithfulness to Him.
