Before returning to Jamaica in May, we went to the Cayman Islands to be in Calvary Baptist Church's missions conference. It was a blessing being with Pastor and Mrs. Michael Jeremiah and family who are doing a tremendous work there in advancing the cause of Jesus Christ. What a joy to see how things have progressed in spiritual growth, attendance, plus an additional building! It was a delight to have sweet fellowship with old friends and make new ones. A particular blessing was meeting a special family of young people and their mother whom we had known during our time on the island. They are now saved and faithful members of the church. It is incredible to see the mighty work of God in the lives of so many people! Swante and Linda Lindquest (Jamaica) F The first week of July was our “Summer Family Camp.” This activity is held with six different churches. During camp we saw four saved, and we baptized nine. During that week 75 surrendered their lives to serve the Lord full- time. Of this group, there were 24 from our church. Some of these who are old enough will soon start in our Bible institute. On July 6, we had our Bible institute graduation. This year three received four-year diplomas, one received a three-year diploma, three finished their two-year certification in Biblical Studies, and three received certificates for one-year of Biblical Studies. Our daughter, Angela, also received her highschool diploma during this ceremony. Pray for Angela as she starts her Bible college studies in September.
