Inner City Church Planter Needs Help with Renovation On Newly Purchased Building USA Missionary Pastor Bill Fluker and the members of Grace & Mercy Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi, have purchased a new church property. What used to be an old night club with much dancing and drinking will now be converted to a place of worship. “We are excited about this purchase as it will move our ministry closer to downtown Jackson, closer to Jackson State University and closer to a more populated area. We need to go where the people are,” said Pastor Fluker. The Grace & Mercy Baptist Church has been in a storefront since it began in November 2005. Souls have been saved and baptized in this inner city ministry and many lives have been changed over the past several years. The new 8,000 sq. ft. facility, once renovated, will provide adequate space for Sunday school classrooms, nursery, office, fellowship hall and kitchen and a much larger auditorium. Pastor Fluker stated that they estimate the total cost of the renovation will be around $45,000. They have received $17,000 in donations from several churches already with their sending church, Calvary Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, donating $10,000 toward the project. Pray for this ministry as they move forward with this project. If you would like to invest in this inner city ministry, you can send donations to Baptist International Missions, Inc. P.O.
