David & Terrie Azzarello
Church Planters to
Ventura, California
December 2017 — “We have
just returned home after
fleeing a devastating fire that has consumed
over 150 homes and buildings and burned
96,000 acres! Amazingly, the pavilion we use
for church was not damaged” at Northpointe
Baptist Church in Ventura. Daniel, Adrienne,
Xavier, and Kaleb all accepted the Lord in
November at River Ridge Baptist Church,
our church plant in Oxnard.

John & Sandy Bailes
National Reseeding America
Representative October 2017 — “It was a
joy on my part to be given
the opportunity to be an interim pastor for
three months to Pinecrest Baptist Church in
Signal Mountain, Tennessee. In September
we had two pastoral candidates.… It was
the will of the Lord that God allowed James
Bussard to be called as pastor.”
Kevin & Pam Barthel
Native Americans, Globe,
Arizona Fall 2017 — “Four young
people got saved since our last
letter! The three youngest were baptized in
September. We also had several unsaved
visitors who have been attending somewhat
regularly. Please pray that they, along with
some neighborhood children who attend
regularly, would be saved soon.”
Ed & Mary Beard
Church Planters in
Annapolis, Maryland
November 2017 — “October
was our mission’s month at
Freestate Baptist Church. Each
week a different missionary
was invited to present his ministry…. Our
church’s Faith Promise increased over $300
a month from last year.”
Rick & Jackie Bonds
Church Planters and Restart
in West, Texas
March 2017 — “There is
still work to be done on the
church building in Dryden. I have come to
realize there always will be! In Pumpville we
will hold our 5th Missions Conference since
coming here. It has become a very special
event for the folks here as well as for Jackie
and me.”
Tom & Renee Border
Japanese Ministry in Ohio
December 2017 — “Our
annual Christmas Brunch
for the ladies is scheduled for
December 8. Renee will be sharing from
God’s Word that Jesus is the ‘Light of The
World.’ Pray for those who are still walking in
spiritual blindness to have their eyes opened
to see their own sinful condition and their
need for Jesus—the Reason for the Season.”
Mildred Brush
St Louis, Missouri
June 2017 — “Bible Institute
classes and Good News Club
are over for the summer, but
that does not mean my days are
not full…. At church we are gearing up for
Vacation Bible School and continuing other
outreach ministries. There are preparations
to be made for the Fall Bible Synthesis
class.…Recently, another ministry was
added to my list. A man in a nearby prison
wrote to our church asking if we had Bible
study materials we could send him. Since I
have an abundance of materials, I took the
letter to do the follow up. He is very grateful
and works diligently on the lessons, doing
them and returning them immediately.”
