The Lord has truly blessed again in calling ten new
missionaries who were approved on Monday, December
4, 2023, by the Board of Trustees to enter the ministry of
missions with Baptist International Missions, Inc. Join us in
prayer for this group as they start their journey in missions.

BIMI Emeritus Bob
Johnson (81) went Home
Missionary to be with the Lord Saturday,
October 14, 2023. Bob
and Louise Johnson were
appointed as missionaries
with BIMI on July 23, 1973.
They served in Ghana, West Africa, for
three years; Eleuthera, Bahamas, for nine
years; and in South Africa for 23 years.
Bob was lovingly known as “Hippo
Bob” because he was attacked by a
hippopotamus in South Africa. God
miraculously spared his life. After his
recovery, Bob started his second church
(Setlopo Baptist Church) with the Tswana
Tribe.
Precious in the sight
of the Lord
