A missionary wife and mother's journey through surrender!
In Christianity today the tendency is to stress that the more we do or the busier we are for the Lord, the more spiritual we are. But in reality spirituality comes not in "doing" but rather in "being". What we are speaks louder than what we say (or do). In Galatians 2:20 we read, I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me... Crucifixion means death-death to self, yet alive to Christ. In Romans 12:1 we read, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
