Did you know that Baptist International Missions has missionary orphanages in India, Nepal, Romania, Uganda, Bolivia, Kenya and Philippines?

Many of us have seen advertisements wanting us to help hungry children around the world. Have you ever asked yourself how much of the money you donate actually gets to help these children? How much goes to pay for those TV commercials, the direct mail appeals and salaries of those who run those organizations? In James 1:27, God says that, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction..."

Our missionaries are primarily church planters, but in that process God opens the door to rescue children from a wretched street life and often total rejection from society. Many of our missionaries have and are reaching out with compassion to children "in their affliction" in the countries where they serve.

For over 50 years Baptist International Missions, Inc. has endeavored to be faithful to the wishes of its donors. When your heart is burdened to send financial support for a missionary ministry it becomes our burden to ensure that your funds go where you want them to go.

Your monthly support or one time gift can help feed, clothe and shelter a needy orphan child. You can fulfill the admonition that James 1:27 gives us to visit (i.e., pay attention to) the fatherless by financially helping an orphanage ministry. Through BIMI you have full assurance your donation will go to the orphanage on the specific field you are burdened to support.

It has been said, "It is better to build children than to repair men." Helping children gives us an opportunity to build Christian leaders and national workers for our Lord Jesus Christ in their own countries.
