Hello, We are the Putney Family and God has called us to plant churches in the needy country of Colombia. We are sent out of Liberty Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. In 2009, God allowed me to visit the country of Colombia for the first time. The Lord used this trip to show the spiritual darkness that Satan has over the people in Colombia. Colombia has been terrorized by paramilitary groups and drug cartels for close to sixty years. Violence and terrorism have closed many doors for missionaries to bring the gospel to those who so desperately need it. However, God has recently opened many of these doors. In 2011, we surveyed Colombia, prayerfully seeking God's will. The Lord used this time to confirm His call upon our lives to reach this country with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are praying that God would raise the prayer and financial support for us to begin planting churches in Colombia. It is also our prayer and desire to see God raise up others to serve in this great and needy harvest field.
