Meekah Hance was raised in an active Christian home. As a child, she accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Ludlow Baptist Church in Ludlow, Vermont. During her teenage years, the Lord gave Meekah a desire to study medicine and called her to become a Physician Assistant. In 2019, she joined her town’s ambulance service and served as an EMT for five years. Meekah attended Pensacola Christian College, graduating with a pre-medicine degree in 2024. While attending her second BIMI CONNECT Missions Trip to the Amazon in 2023, the Lord burdened her heart and called her to be a full-time missionary to the Amazon Basin in Peru. The following year, God provided the opportunity for Meekah to spend several years in Lima, Peru, teaching and learning Spanish through immersion. While serving and preparing there, the Lord confirmed her calling to the people of the Amazon Basin. Her desire is to return to the jungle and be involved in church planting, children’s ministries, while using medicine to present the Gospel and reach others for Christ.
