It has been a privilege to be in Argentina for 39 years. Everything we have done has all been by His help. God deserves all of the praise and glory.
We arrived in Argentina 39 years ago and started the first independent Baptist Church in Tucumán, Argentina. It was an eight hour drive to find a church of like faith.
God has been good. Bethel Baptist Church is averaging between 600 and 800 people every Sunday. Many lives have been changed. I cannot explain how this has happened in an European culture country in Spanish-speaking South America. God did it.
We started Bethel Baptist Bible College 24 years ago. There have been 50 pastors who have gone out into the service of the Lord. Many more of been trained. We have about 60 students in classes at the church, and another 300 online. Last year, 11 graduated into the ministry.
We have had a conference on soulwinning and revival every year for 28 years. Pastors and workers come to be challenged to do the work for the Lord. We believe God can still do great things.
We have endeavored to start 30 churches here in Tucumán through our preacher boys.
It is a great challenge to keep the work going. The churches have a pastor, and many have their own buildings.
Young people are the future of Argentina. We are working tirelessly to win them to Christ.
We have summer camps, BVS, and other activities, for the teenagers. We have had up 150 teenagers and young adults. Many come to weekly meetings. They will be the future leaders.
We still go out in the highway and hedges, soulwinning house-to-house, and bring them to church. We have a big bus ministry and work with many lives that are destroyed. God still works through personal soulwinning.
Prayer is the key to everything. God works through prayer. We have prayer groups through the day, and prayer meetings at night. We pray for many lives to be changed.
Many drug addicts, prostitutes, drunkards, and criminals have been saved. To God be the glory!
We have an aggressive ministry to children, too. There is VBS, Sunday School, and Bible Clubs. My wife, Alma, has special meetings for street children. Please, pray that the children might have not fall into the snare of the devil like their parents — drug addiction. Pray for a property for a children's ministry.
