Joshua & Alyssa Clay #1613

Josh and Alyssa Clay grew up together at Bethel Baptist Church near Dayton, Ohio. They were both saved at a young age. As they were attending Crown College of the Bible, God worked in their hearts individually about serving Him in missions. They were married shortly after college and started deputation with the goal of serving in West Africa. The Lord worked even through the COVID-19 pandemic and allowed a quick deputation and a smooth delivery of their first child, Adelynn. They departed for language school in 2021. After completing the foundational courses of the French language, they spent 3 years working with veteran missionaries (the Mach family) in the Ivory Coast. This is also where their second child, Judah, was born. They are excited to now help establish a new church plant in the village of Anan.
