The title Missionary Emeritus is a title of honor given to BIMI missionaries who have served with distinction for at least 25 years. Emeritus status is synonymous with retirement status. Those who hold emeritus status are not required to fulfill any particular role through BIMI and thus may or may not be "officially" serving in missions. All of the funds received for missionary emeriti are used for ministry needs or forwarded on to them as retirement income. It is important to give honor to whom honor is due and we are grateful for this opportunity to recognize these servants of the Lord.
BIMI's short-term missions program offers many different trips. By joining a Connect team, individuals will have an opportunity to use their talents and abilities for the cause of Christ.
