Mark and Brenda Liedtke and family
Serving in Honduras, Central America
We are Mark and Brenda Liedtke, missionaries to Central America, sent by Grace Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia.
Mark is originally from Peru, South America. He was brought to the United States as a foster child when he was 12 years old. By God's great grace, he was confronted with his need for a Savior at First Baptist Church of Elkhart, Indiana, and he received the Lord during his first year in the States. Mark later followed the Lord in baptism at First Baptist Church, Kouts, Indiana.
Brenda was born into a preacher's home, but she realized her personal need of salvation at the age of six during a Children's Bible Club her mother was conducting. She followed the Lord in baptism at Faith Baptist Church of Easley, South Carolina.
During their college years, God impressed upon both of their hearts the calling to foreign missions, specifically to the Spanish-speaking world. They have worked in Ecuador, US Hispanic ministries, and Belize for the past 25 years witnessing, discipling, and establishing churches. The Lord has now opened a new door for a church plant in Valle de Angeles, Honduras, where they plan to relocate in April 2020.
