As a five-year-old, Kevin trusted Christ as his personal Savior in Sunday school at the church where he grew up. He was baptized at Grace Baptist Church in Pittsfield, Illinois. Rachel trusted Christ in 1985 and was also baptized at Grace Baptist Church, Pittsfield, Illinois. Kevin and Rachel Lowe were married on May 5, 2018. Both of them widowed, God brought them together around an interest in missions and a desire to glorify the Lord. They have faithfully participated in many different ministries of their local church and actively sought new opportunities to serve Jesus. This led them to spend time with missionary church planters on the fields of Mexico and Belize. Through their time assisting the Harris family at Grace Baptist Church of Dangriga in 2022, they recognized and responded to a call to full time missionary service. Kevin and Rachel’s goal is to assist BIMI church planters where needed in Central America. The Lord has led this couple to begin their ministry by returning to Belize as they assist the John Harris family and garner practical training and experience.
Recomendations
To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Bro. Kevin Lowe and his wife, Rachel, as missionaries to Belize. It is evident to me that Bro. Kevin has a deep desire to serve the Lord in missions, and that he has a true conviction that the Lord has called him to be a missionary to Belize.
It has been a joy to see the way the Lord is already working and blessing the ministry of Pastor John Harris, a missionary sent out of our church that has been serving the Lord in Belize for the last eight years. I believe the Lord will greatly use the Lowes to help strengthen, grow, and enhance the work there in Belize. I have found Bro. Kevin to be a man of the Bible, a man of conviction, and a man of vision, and devotion who will faithfully witness to the lost, strengthen the believers, teach the children, and encourage the pastor and workers of Grace Baptist Church in Dangriga, Belize.
The need truly is great, and I am grateful for those who are willing to leave all behind to go all over the world to preach the blessed Gospel to a lost and dying world! Where God leads, He provides. Those whom He calls, He equips and empowers for His service. I believe the Lord has equipped and is equipping the Lowes for this great work that He has called them to. Moving to and living in another country is certainly something that is costly, and they will need a host of God’s people supporting them in this great work. Would you please, first, pray for the Lowes as they step out by faith—following and obeying the Lord’s call for their lives? Would you also please prayerfully consider allowing them to present their work and share their burden for the people of Belize to your church? And lastly, would you prayerfully consider partnering with them financially, aiding and equipping their ministry in Belize?
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the church office at the number below.
With love in Christ,

It is with great joy and excitement that I recommend Kevin and Rachel Lowe to the Mission field of Belize for your consideration. I had the privilege of being their Pastor for many years. In fact, Rachel worked on my staff and always gave her best. Kevin is very talented and is a man of great character. He loves the Lord and is a great Bible teacher and preacher. A few things also about Bro. Kevin is that he retired Army Major. He served in the medical/nursing corps as a company commander and ROTC as an adjunct faculty instructor for cadets enrolled in the military science curriculum.
He also served in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield Storm and in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He also worked as a Clinic Coordinator and a Professor of Nursing.
I believe his life experiences speaks volumes of his commitment to the cause.
Together they will be able to reach many for the cause of Christ. Thank you for considering this great couple.
Let’s reach the world!

Dear Pastor or Missions Director,
I would like to take a moment to wholeheartedly recommend Kevin and Rachel Lowe. I have known them for several years and have personally witnessed their sincere walk with the Lord, their heart for people, and their burden for missions. They are planning to serve here in Belize alongside our ministry until the Lord moves them elsewhere. I do not take anyone serving with us lightly, and I can confidently say that Kevin and Rachel are spiritually grounded, humble, and ready to labor in the harvest field.
Their character and faithfulness have already been a blessing as they prepare for full-time ministry. Kevin leads with a servant’s heart, and Rachel complements him with grace and quiet strength. If the Lord leads, I wholeheartedly recommend them for support and believe they will be a great asset to the mission field and a blessing to any supporting church. If you have any questions, I would be glad to speak further on their behalf.
In Christ,
John Harris
