John Mark & Kristin Catalan #1581

We are the Catalan family, serving as missionaries to the Philippines. Our sending church is South Charlotte Baptist Church in Pineville, North Carolina, and we serve with Baptist International Missions, Inc.

My wife, Kristin, and I were both raised in Christian homes, saved as teenagers, and later baptized. In God’s providence, He brought us together, and from the beginning we were committed and surrendered to His will and purpose for our lives. Having grown up in the Philippines, I (John Mark) developed a burden for the Filipino people and a desire to reach them with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Together, we are committed to fulfilling God’s calling on our lives.

By God’s grace, the Lord has allowed us to start Gospel Way Baptist Church in Imus, Cavite. All the glory belongs to Him, and we are grateful and excited to serve on this mission field. We humbly ask for your prayers for our family and the ministry in the Philippines.
